Official Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG Thread

Attainable as in no US release at all (at least as of now). Nike better not do this dumb **** with the high.
For sure. That’s why I said “relatively” attainable. I copped retail from EU and others copped resale for decent prices.

I havent seen many releases where patience doesnt get you a pair of shoes for cheaper the past 2 years lol

Ya to be fair I think all the 85 low releases have been an odd or non traditional

WearTesters with another solid video.
I can't be the only one who noticed this though. 11:13 minute video, review is only 5 minutes. Rest is them answering a user submitted question.
At this point, are they just gaming the system to make the videos longer?

I walk a fair amount for my job and have the opportunity to wear whatever shoes I choose.
So far I have done around 35000 steps in my 85 Royals and while they are getting there, they still aren't comfortably broken in yet. Unlike others here I feel like they are the same size in length as my other 85 lows. However they are, in my opinion, much narrower. I have conditioned the leather which I think has helped somewhat but it's just so thick.
I still love them even though they don't seem to love me back 🤣

Yes. But they were honest about that when they introduced the new format.

They said the engagement helps with the algorithm, and that's why they started doing the question of the day. I don't mind it. There's been some fun stuff in there.

It depends on the shoe and the question. There isn't much to discuss about this release compared to other recent drops where he can talk in-depth about performance or changes in tech specs. And some questions he just gives long answers to

Did you use mink oil to condition the leather? I’ve never tried that on a new pair, just when cleaning/restoring a used pair.

No it's just a supermarket store leather conditioner cream. It states it's main ingredients as Beeswax and Lanolin.

I feel like the insole is too thick for the shoe and it pushes your foot up. I swapped mine out for some generic ones and the difference is night and day
