Wore the low 85 royals for the first time today. They are fire.
IMO the new low 85 is overall superior to any other low AJ1 that I own, even compared to the previous low 85 pairs and even compared to the 2015 pairs. I don’t see myself ever buying another “OG low” again.
Glad to have these but annoyed that I missed on the high 85 breds. I now understand what people are talking about with the quality and construction of the new 85 mold.

It really sucks that the Chicago and storm blue lows coming out aren’t gonna be In the new 85 cut. Idk what they are thinking.

QFT. It’s just visually better when the swoosh covers most of the quarter panel. There’s just way too much negative space with the keto swoosh. Kinda reminds me of these horrific things

Nike pushed back the release for the obsidian lows for slight defects. Having retailers check for a square toe defect and to set those units aside. Defective rates are high for men sizes (further audits showing defective units in GS).
I’m stoked they are finally doing this. I’ve returned so many pairs with squared off toes recently.
