How much did these set you back? I have DS Chi lows that I’m considering offing, given the absurd amount they’re commanding and I actually feel like I would wear these SBBish lows.

$210 + shipping, IIRC. But they aren’t a planned release here and they’re my House colors at work (I’m a teacher) so I can rock them quite often.

the one time there were a bunch available online I got a 12 not knowing I needed to go 12.5 or 13. Now that size hard to come by for retail (online)

I do not see these on NDC yet, but they are on the app and I really like these and had to cop them. This is to me a better, more tame take on those Sunset Pulse Dunks that I was not a fan of (it was too much going on with those IMO). I am surprised that this is a men's release though with the pastel colors.....I would have thought this would be a women's drop.

I feel you on that, but $30 over retail is not too bad, especially since like you stated you do not know how these drops will go and if pairs will be available or go up drastically in price. I have had that happen to me also where I bought a sneaker for a little over retail just for it to drop in the US like a couple months later. I just took it as a meal that I missed out on by spending the extra $20-50 on the shoe. LOL

As for this colorway, I did not even know about it whatsoever until yesterday when I was in the app. It definitely looks like the materials are of higher quality (in comparison to a standard AJ1 Low). I am excited to get these in hand for sure!

I can’t tell you how disappointed I am in Jordan Brand for changing the OG 1 Low’s. The Starfish 1 with that leather would’ve been perfect. They dropped the ball AGAIN.

I miss the big swooshes.

Anyone know why they changed the OG lows construction? I was going through some of my old DS pairs of OG lows and while I think materials on the new pairs are better overall than on the old releases but the cut/construction is SO much better:

Spoon, now you’re making me think they are definitely going to push limited, more expensive (at retail) “85 lows” soon. Pretty BS move, if so, but I’m not surprised either.

All they needed to do was keep the old construction but use the better leather(like they did on the orange pair)for these newer releases. Jordan Brand trolls us AGAIN. Scumbags.
