Yeahi tried my pair on today and noticed they are even tighter than some of my previous 85 OGs. I still can't convince myself to go up to a 10 tho. Gonna try walking a bit in them to see if it helps.

Nah if you bought any other 85 lows you would know that the 85 runs small as hell. The royals have me scared to try the 85 Breds as they have the same remastered 85 shape.

Should have been clear I was referring to the metallic Navy i just picked up… (Didn’t like the other 85’s lows colors to pay retail, royals are my favorite jordan 1)

My 85 metallics lows fit fine and you can definitely feel the difference in the royals. I have a pair of 85 breds on the way im hoping its not the same.

The 85 Black/Royals do loosen up eventually. It takes a lot of wear though. It took me about two weeks straight of solid walking all day (I walk all day for work) to get them comfortable. It was hell though.

If the shoe is built narrow sizing up won't really help right? You just get more length with the same narrowness as before? I just got my Royal 85s, so I'm hoping they don't run too tight.

my regular size is 9.5. i wish with 85 royals i went with a 10.
edit: i also wear shoe trees with my 1's, normally i dont have an issue but i do with 85s

Welp... hopefully I don't have the same problem. I'm a 9.5 too and went TTS, though I sometimes wear 10s because I like a little more space. My feet are fairly narrow so maybe I'll be alright, fingers crossed.
