Went to Santa Clarita, Northridge, Topanga, Glendale and still no calls. Families were up there in groups getting tickets for one person smh! But i'll be patient some of them said they would call up til the day before, if not Online it is.

Got the call from Footlocker today, won the raffle for a size 13.  Pretty stoked to not feel obligated to fight the bots this saturday.  Now if only I could lock down a pair of those 1s next weekend.

I remember a lot of folks passing up on the Columbias when they first came out saying they're too plain and All Star shoes were a joke. Now, they're grails to some And even older folks (late 20s) hated the patent leather, but them Breds became famous with his series against GP and the Sonics.

I'm really surprised Jordan Brand used the Gamma theme for a edition they nearly kept the original color line except the lows. Especially the sole - I would've thought they'd go the clear sole route.

I mean everyone has 3 main colorways now. I think this is a smart business move for JB. They're adapting to change in consumerism and targeting newer JB fans immersed in the swag, eye-popping, bold statement look. I don't think the Blackout 11s would've been as nearly hyped. This is how they'll stay alive and whether you like or not, these Gammas will be a classic to this new generation when older folks lose teeth.

I hope JB does release the Columbias next year. It'll be a solid way to say bye to the shoe game. (might pull a Mayweather if they come out with a Toro 11, general release the Pantones, Doernbecher 11s...here we go again)

Funny how your compairing this to the columbia 11. Columbia's are classic because mj used it. This gamma is just another cw jb made to keep the 11line alive.

When these first came out, actually the 11s in general, people were on the fence. The Columbias actually sat on the shelves because people didn't want to shell out $145 w/tax to watch the white patent leather yellow. All of the 11s became a classic eventually, but nobody thought it would be hyped this big in 2013. Even 10 years ago, I didn't even think the Columbias were a classic - MJ maybe only wore them once or twice and that was for the 96 All Star Game. The real classic out of the 11s is the Breds - if you watched the finals live that year, it was hard not to hold back tears seeing MJ cry on the floor like that on Father's day.

Looked back the last 5 pages and didn't see YCMC release info. Looks like they're doing in store only and from what corporate says, they should be FCFS releases on the 21st.
