I believe Thor nodes are actually real nodes too.

They are now. There was a time when it was looking like a ponzi scam. They've really turned things around, it seems.

Would really be great if they can become the Strong for Avalanche.

Only downside at the moment is there's a tax if you claim your coins before your ROI. Currently this holds true for every other time you go to claim, but I think they're eventually getting rid if that.

I invested in lots of node projects last couple months. Several rugs/failures. Thor been legit, they're investing the treasury, make good returns for buy-backs, and have bought 2 FTM validator nodes for profit to fund buybacks.

If you're looking for an entry point for Thor, January 28th will be when Odins reach ROI and can cash out with minimal tax (currently 25% tax). I'm expecting a significant dip.

Other nodes that haven't rugged/aren't sucking for a month or >: Vapornodes, Atlas cloud, Comb (no position in Comb)

You in the server??

Heard they partnered with robotos for some giveaways...

I played a a poker tournament today for a WL place  Got bodied by people who watch studio ghibli movies all day :smh:
Bro I was in the tourney during work and wasn’t paying full attention, got out at #70. Got my SuperPal last week though, I feel like anyone that gets in the server before it hits 5k will get a mint spot.

Idk if it will, people move to these sorts of things as the market tanks. But at the end of the day of btc hits 20k strong will follow.

Gotta like the fact that Strong is, so far, holding up well in these times.

So tempting to just let things compound into another node. You make it to 3 or 4, that's where I can see the real magic happening. It's really hard to turn down 4 - 5K a month in profits though when you make it to 10 Strong.

It’s holding up because it has actual utilization . The more nodes in a network, the more secure it is.

It’s still proof of concept so it’s hasn’t reached it’s true potential yet. Once it starts supporting more protocols, and they develop their own chain and their blockchain, it’s only gonna go up.

The only way this project will fold is is somehow the nodes aren’t real or if crypto gets to a point where consensus protocols no longer need nodes for security. And those are both unlikely.

The amount of tokens in circulation may be something worth mentioning. They burned too many and there’s only 32k now. I think the tokenomics and the reward decay will keep that issue at bay for now though but who knows.

I’m bullish!!

Did anybody catch the AMA yesterday.?
Gotta get caught up on what went down ..

I'm ready to pull the trigger on that third node... If we dip to sub $400.. might just make a 4th.! Fuxk it.

yessir. Its on the discord, Text only though.

Was hoping they would talk about the decay, but we gotta wait for the medium article at the end of the month.

O OnlySinkDunks yogetoffmykickz yogetoffmykickz cosmos on the move again. juno hit a new ATH again. i didn’t throw any atom at kava. how is that doing? i have a bag of atom/juno pooled on junoswap to get their native dex token dropping soon. also have atom and juno staked to hopefully get the flix airdrop.
Like O OnlySinkDunks said... Surge event goes live on the 27th. In proposal now... IBC transfers are up and ready. Easy bridge over....

Got a bag of ATOM on Kava already ready for that 1700% APY.

Also... It's a blood bath out there... But there's always that one green fish..

I'm in a similar situation. When brig rugged, it kinda hurt but wasn't surprised. When Ring failed, that definitely hurt. I thought the original DaaS would last long enough for me to pull out my initial investment. After that I found Thor after, Loki popped into Ring's emergency AMA on discord. Thor's communication with its community brings a lot of confidence in the project after getting burned twice. I'm hoping things keep going long enough for me to recover from my DaaS experiment.

On another note, I just bought 2 type 3 planetwatch monitors on ebay for over 3 times retail. Should arrive mid February. I read that the waitlist is close to 10 months for a type 3 and bit the bullet to get one sooner. Going to take me 5-6 months to get my money back if rewards and price stay constant. I regret not getting in on it when you mentioned it back in September
