Anyone else messing with CAPP? I’m hoping it stays around here for a little while so I can accumulate more. Ideal would be LTC going on a big run, taking a piece off and adding it into CAPP and maybe somewhere else depending on where things are.

Ven bois we stay flourishing....bout to ditch my Icon position for Ven...ICX dope too, I just don’t have much in it to really care...lol

Can anyone give me a 10,000 foot high level summary of what crypto currency is?

Why do we actually need crypto currency?

Why are there so many different ones?

What is this technology? Like why is it not just digital cash (meaning it’s same as every other currency but not available in physical format)?

Is lots of research and $100 a month enough to get into this or am I better off not learning and investing if my funds are that low?

Crypto is the best place for people with little money.

Crypto isn’t digital cash (ok some are but it’s bigger than just that). It’s all all about the technology behind crypto: blockchain, tangle, dag coins in general.

Blockchain is a digital ledger so it’s a way to store information that cannot be edited or changed. It takes you away from a third party needing to be present in order to register transactions. There are many different uses. My favorite is the ability to track products during the supply chain in order to verify authenticity or to be able to track where a flaw occurred. There are tons of different uses.

Out of the top 50 cryptos on coinmarketplace right now, which one of their cryptoeconomic incentives are correctly aligned with its network objective? Can someone help me with this and explain?

Bitcoin was created to answer the 2008 financial crisis where banks ripped off the people giving them sub-prime loans. It's a de-centralized (no banks) currency where transactions are saved on the blocks, hence blockchain technology.

Why are there so many different ones?
They're now using the blockchain technology from bitcoin to create several different other coins with different purposes. Monero is a cryptocurrency that is completely private and anonymous. Factom is trying to be a universal record keeper of the world as documents are kept on the block and are secure/private. Sia lets you rent out hard-drive space for $, like storage. Civic gives everyone a digital identity, no need for IDs, passport etc. Some coins are better or worse versions of the ones mentioned above, and there are many other practical uses.

100$/month is fine, only invest what you're willing to lose. Keep in mind crypto is hyper-volatile, can dip 50% in a day, or go up 1000% another.

Fusion getting listed.

No position but AMB looks interesting right now. Little perk and curl on the daily. European/Swiss vechain for food and medicine.

The process of contributing to ICO's is something that needs to be sorted out but ICO's might die before we reach that point.

If you're in the US then your best bet is finding a legit pool. That way you won't need to bother with KYC or being a US resident.

I hold CAPP. It's a legit company and the AR/VR space has potential. It's a gamble long hold for me

Vitalik provided a solution for the security of ICO's.

However, I like the idea that Maxwell proposed and believe it could be used for ICO's, too. (Allowing conditions and digital signatures to the smart contracts)

Portfolio looking better , but seeing as how I only have BTC, XRP , and VEN right now...What are some other good ones can someone suggest ?
