Official CAR AUDIO Thread FAQ added

Bass be damned lol, I like some loud voice/midbass but thats overboard, but yeah the duval cars are the baby versions of those except add bass. I live inAlabama, and around here the loudest(voicewise) cars have cheap ugly sounding PA horns pointed out of the window. I despise that to no end but its undoubtedlyloud, but I'm sure those NY cars would prob drown one of thsoe out

Oh... Cause my boy bought 4 beymas for the rear and door... And that thing is crazy... My ears were about to bleed

... He paid $200 for each pair... What makes the voice sound better than other speakers?
Alot of technical stuff that's hard to explain

I was trying to compare the specs to a regular speaker/components and dont really see any difference just besides that some beymas have like150w RMS...

I've been talking about getting this system for a minute and still havent got it

But when I do order, just want to make sure its some good !#@#

ive always been more of an sq guy but i got the L7 for so cheap i couldnt pass it up.

arent JL amps underrated though? 14.4 volts means the engines running right?

so assuming that JL amps are underrated, it shuld give me around 550 !*%.

Got a 01 green civic coupe, don't know if I want to put in a system n rims or cop something better n put in the works in it

Monday,

what do you think about memphis?

I can pick up a MCD1000 for $110

and also, can you recommend some comps or some coaxials for some good sq?

Memphis is cool..that amp is average @ best. what ohm config is the l7? what's your budget for comps? what hu are u using?

The l7 a dual 4. so i'd be running it at 2 ohms. i'm not to sure about an HU yet. My budget for comps are 120

i have (2) dual 4 ohm kicker cvr 12 would a kicker zx 750.1 be a good amp or do i need a 2 channel amp with more watts?? thanks
