I need better head phones. Everything sounds dope but the production mainly reminds me of Cherry Bomb by Tyler The Creator. The music overshadows the lyrics. I don't know if its the headphones or if its the way the album was made.

Sidenote: great album though. Need to go ahead and get the vinyl when I get a chance.

They mean the same thing, really.

"Trash" or "garbage" are just edgy ways of expressing the same sentiment that cats like to use because they're bound to ruffle someone's feathers.

Took me a while to internalize that, and it's still always an eyesore, but it isn't really an insult towards anyone else.

If anything, comments like "this is a travesty" and "what a shame" are unnecessarily over the top things he's said that go beyond disliking what he's hearing and borders on implying that Gambino isn't doing what's he decided to do this time around, well (in my opinion, of course.)

Production wise, I'm loving this from start to finish.

Vocally, he didn't do much for me until Zombies, and pretty much everything from then onward is nice to me.

Me and Your Mama, Redbone, Terrified, Baby Boy, and Stand Tall are my favorites on the first listen.

I appreciate what he brought to the table this time around.

Like I wouldn't tell somebody to stay in their lane, but Donald just doesn't have the voice for this and it makes him end up looking bad. It's the same for Cudi trying to make rock albums. You don't have the requirements for it. CG isn't a bad singer but his range doesn't fit what he's trying to do at all

i can completely understand peoples' disinterest in this album. I'm a fan but i like the funk aspect. quite different from his last but im not upset over it.
