I just tried on some LL Bean boots. I think they're the 8" they got some navy blue joints I like a lot but they only come in the cheap model. The $109, they felt like rain boots. No cushion or comfort at all

You could always put an insole in the bean boots. I usually just wear the sockliner that came with them or put in ll bean sherpa insoles if I want some extra warmth.

Believe it or not their cheapest pair of boots are more functional than anything else other brands put out, like he said above, just get an insole.
