The main problem I'm seeing with the definitive edition is that R* hired and out sourced Grove Street games which is only known for doing the iphone & android remasters before for the GTA PS2 era games.
R* should have went with a company like Blue Point games but they didn't want to spend that money of course .

Smh just now realizing that GTA SA is free to play for game pass. About to download it just to do side content like spraying tags, robbing houses & turning half of the gang areas green.

Playing through SA just for a achievement to get MS Rewards points...actually looks pretty good to me as a remaster.
