This is because often the PEs that are made in limited runs (so even less production numbers than some F&F runs) are made by the same facilities that make samples that are provided to the same facilities that produce GRs. As you know, samples have to be high quality before they are provided as reference pairs so the larger producers can build to those standards. This isn't the case with just Nike/JB either. I worked in supply chain management so this is pretty common practice across many industries but very prevalent in footwear and apparel.

Random thoughts:
Cool Grey are way too high.
Knicks should not be on the list, no one even wanted them when they dropped. (I still like the shoe tho)
Vogues have always been dope to me....never seen them on a lady's foot tho.
Georgetown, Denim (w/the Kanji logo) & Nina Chanel should be on the list.
Seoul 2.0 is far better than the first pair.
Atmos & Black History Month deserve retros with the better shape and (the marginally better) comfort we have in 3s today.

Anyone having paint chipping on the midsoles of the Wizard 3s?
Was curious about the Levi's 3s: I've seen some vids of folks distressing the denim on the dark blue pair, which I'm guessing means the denim can fade over time? Can anyone confirm this? Not asking in a bad way, I think it could look cool if that's the case.

Just copped this bootleg T on Atlantic Ave .. lolololololol for 10 bucks you cant go wrong. I havent wore these racer blues yet. Gotta unds them one of these days.

They look borderline trash to me. I think the laser idea worked on the 4s bc of the colorways and the leather was top tier. This looks
to me.
