It's cherry season. But it ain't for me. Threw on the Win Like '82 when I went to see Avatar: The Way of Water yesterday afternoon.

Worn it at least 15 times the last 5 years. Yellowing on the outsole not too bad. My 2018 concords still DS. Idk why but I just prefer rocking these jaunts. Merry chrimmuh yall:pimp:

I can never go with suede on an XI. It always has to be patent leather for my preference with the model since it's how everyone saw it when Jordan initially wore them in the 1995 NBA Playoffs. The Black/Red XI will always be synonymous with patent leather. Any material tweaks or revisions on them will always make them look bootleg.

But I will make an exception with suede on the 2018 Jeter Low since it was designed for a baseball legend. They basically deviate from the traditional basketball gimmick that relates to the XI, which I'm OK with.

Facts. Not really a fan of IEs either.

I never liked the IE as well because they looked like some knockoff low-top XI that are found in Payless shoe stores. The whole design looked off to me. The patent leather portion that used differing material with vents on it made them look cheap.

Seeing pictures of Jordan wear some low-top Concord XI at the Bulls' championship parade in 1996 for years made me like those type of XI with the patent leather. And it was nice that those finally released in 2014. But it's bad that Jordan Brand saturated the market with unwanted or useless colorways with the XI Low for the last few years now.

The XI Jeter Low were nice with the whole shoe being navy blue suede because it aligned with Jeter being with the Yankees for his entire Hall Of Fame career. It's just something with them using suede on that shoe instead of the traditional patent leather that appealed to me for some reason. And I liked the leather laces with that shoe as a nod to that type of lace found on the webbing between the thumb and index finger of a baseball glove.

I swear there's differing colors with the mesh upper part of the XI Low Cement Grey coming out on April 1, 2023 because it appears gray in some earlier pictures. But it appears white in some more recent pictures.

Here's some latest photos from this site.

Feel like the grey sock liner is killing it? They are odd.. like something that would have dropped in 01 with the first lows.
