And use the purple and gold jerseys from the 70's/80's/90's.

The NHL has been allowing teams to rock alternate throwback jerseys, as part of their rotation for home games.  

That would be sick if the NBA did this.

we're one of the teams that rarely have throwbacks but id like to see them do that

we're about to get creamed tonight. you know damn well michael wants to stick it to us, especially kobe and phil. its ironic he practiced with them before they played us. kobe is going to try to show up mike and thats going to be the problem.

The showtime look would be awesome for a couple games every now and then. I wish we'd get a black jersey like the Black Nike swingman that Kobe wore for that one magazine cover... was it Slam?. The first time I saw it I wanted it, but I didn't have enough dough to buy it back then. Only one that I saw recently was a fake (you could tell with the stitching that it wasn't legit, but it was close), or "replica" that my friend got from a shop in Korea that will custom-make jerseys for you.
