Wow Bron went from the NBA's "golden child" to the most hated man in the league lol.

Professional sports...gotta love it

We are glad to welcome you and any other LeBum haters.

@ the thought of a 2 straight hands down league MVP coming to be someone's sidekick.

Shaq between 1999 and 2002:

1999-00 NBA MVP (Kobe 12th in MVP voting)
2000-01 3rd in MVP voting (Kobe 9th in MVP voting)
2001-02 3rd in MVP voting (Kobe 5th in MVP voting)
2000 NBA Finals MVP
2001 NBA Finals MVP
2002 NBA Finals MVP

Let's see if Wade will be as overwhelmingly "the man" as this next to Bron.

One thing that is certain no matter how things turn out for this Heat team:

Bron without Wade/Bosh: NBA finals appearance, 2 x NBA eastern conference finals, 2 x best record in the league
Kobe without Shaq/Gasol: 2 x first round dropout and a lottery

Is it your part time job to attempt to discredit everything Kobe Bryant has ever done?

Kobe between 1999-2002

regular season...
99-00 22.5ppg 4.9 apg 6.3 rpg
00-01 28.5ppg 5apg 5.9rpg
01-02 25.2ppg 5.5apg 5.5 rpg

playoffs...
99-00 21.1ppg 4.4 apg 4.5 rpg
00-01 29.4ppg 6.1apg 7.3apg
01-02 26.6ppg 4.6apg 5.8rpg

Yes Shaq put up better numbers(not by much), but Kobe's numbers are are NOT sidekick numbers. He was arguably just important to that team.

and  lol @ you using MVP voting as criteria for attempting to discredit Kobe. So was Steve Nash better than Kobe during the 05-06 season because he won MVP that year?? Better yet, was Karl Malone better then your boy Mike in '97 when he won it?

And in the post Shaq/pre Gasol era that you mentioned where Kobe was losing, he had one onf the worst supporting casts EVER.  Lebron never had to deal with anything that bad.

Smush Parker? Kwame Brown? Brian Cook? Chris Mihm? Luke?

(Insert c'mon son gif here)

i don't have a problem with anybody leaving for an other team cuzit is what it is, but damn, this guy didn't have to do that to Cleveland on national TV....... didn;t even call them to let him know the decision beforehand......

its a business. this isnt his high school basketball team. he gets a paycheck from his employer thats all. u think dan gilbert didnt milk millions from lebron? dude should be grateful he had a great player in his bummy town for 7 years

noway lbj will be the 2nd option. he's too good. best player on a team will never be looked as a sidekick...wade and bosh will be looked as sidekicks...whether from scoring or playmaking, lebron's gonna initiate first.. as long as lbj plays better than wade which he will and wins more finals mvp...he''ll never be the 2nd man.. who cares if wade have played there before? wade is old enough to step down. dude about to be 29 with a quickness.

I'm saying...

I cant stop laughing at how mad people in Ohio are over this, the whole state should be on suicide watch

Ya'll should be grateful he even played in your @#+$!# state for the 7 years that he did, he dont owe ya'll anything.

People acting like as soon as he puts on that #6 jersey he won't be the best player on the team/floor. We just gonna forget about that though, right?

Enough w/ this sidekick bs

It kills me how ppl said he did clevland wrong lol... Why does he owe them anything? They werent fans/cared about lebron. They were just fans of winning. Yall act as if they loved/cared for lebron as a person. And as far as the city, what exactly did they do for him exactly? If they cared for him so much, where was all these caring ppl when him and his family was broke struggling to make ends meet?

Next this whole he is a coward he shouldve did the stockton etc.. route and just continue to be a playoff team his entire career. That is so stupid it doesnt even deserve a response. He made the best move and the best decision for his career. I ask all the losers, haters, scrubs who hate him answer this. Name 1 just 1 nba team that has won a championship without at least 2 or more allstar/superstar players? Hell name any team in any sport that has done this.

DC one of my fav nters made a good point about the slave analogy. And it is showing with gilberts response. Its like he is like ah shid, i lost my top slave, number 1 cotton picker. After all I didnt do for you, i let you get overworked and make me tons of money. I allowed you to let me ride your coat tail, and give you horrid work conditions, and unfulfilled and open promises. How dare you have the audacity to leave and put yourself in a better position.

If anything its the fans and the owner that are itches. You got a billionaire belly-aching and a bunch of grown folks crying and acting like neanderthals over a sport. Also shows how selfish they are, you gonna hate and wish death on a man because he did what was best for him and his family. And did what makes him happy.

Lebron might be the most talented player on the Heat, but he's also the most unselfish...as of now.

Wade will still be that dude.

broussard was just on espn radio and he said he been known bron was goin to the heag and that it will be brons team and that wade knows that

just like magic was the 2nd option even tho dude was clearly the best player on your fav team. lmao ..

people think being selfish is good all of sudden? wth is this?
