Wes Johnson back tonight. Hopefully he really was the missing piece to the second unit. They really struggled in his absence.

Show us you can do it the 4th, Blake! I like it.
Just can't put these MFers away.

Fam, I think Luc had the same amount of pts as Jamal Crawford on 6 less shot attempts. He's actually contributing on offense too. There's no reason to still be trotting that out anymore. I think we have to start looking at that now so later down the line, it won't be awkward or weird for us to have Luc in down the stretch. When we're protecting a lead I would prefer to have Luc in over Jamal. Especially with a wing player like Derozan. Jamal played way too many mins in the 4th imo.
No. But it doesn't have much to do with his size. It just has to do with the fact that he's been one of the worst players in the NBA this season.^ so I take it you don't wanna start rivers at the 3 anymore?
Albeit extremely limited time together so far this season, The L.A. Clippers lineup of Paul/Redick/Rivers/Griffin/Jordan came into Monday Night sporting a 134.2 Offensive Rtg and a 93 Defensive RTG for an overall net rtg of 41.2
To further explore that, Austin is spending over half of his time on the floor this season at the 3 position with the bench, in which they've posted a 90.1 defensive rtg coming into tonight, with Austin only allowing defenders to shoot 40% against him.
So Austin has been god awful, but him playing the 3 hasn't been bad at all for LAC in fact it's netted incredible results SO FAR so I don't even know what point you're trying to get at

Blake's game last night perfectly underscores something I mentioned the other day. You want him to be successful on offense in the 4th quarter - keep him off the box and let him work from the top or wing. He's so much more effective that way. Let's him use his quickness more and gives him more passing angles for when he get's doubled. Plus, seems to allow for other players to be in better offensive rebounding position. He's just not a good enough low block scorer to have him going iso in the post as a featured part of crunch time offense. Stick to the formula we used last night.
And I definitely think Luc's offensive output lately has at least earned him a look at closing games with the other starters. He's at least a credible threat on offense now, which is all we really need out of that position besides good defense. But Doc is stubborn as hell when it comes to his rotations and generally only makes changes when necessitated by injury or very poor play. So I think we'll continue to see a lot of 4th quarter Jamal. Sigh.
Finally, I know we're playing mostly sub-.500 teams, but I think this 6 game trip coming up is going to be tough. We've already played a busy schedule and the team is looking a little fatigued to me. I'll be happy if we go 4-2.
Always enjoy crushing the Mavs, especially now that they have that douche Bogut.
