OFFICIAL @MIAMIDOLPHINS 2016 PLAYOFFS! THREAD (10-6) :::: NEXT: WILDCARD Vs @STEELERS 1:00PM EST CB

I lowkey want Tannehill to be benched so these idiots can see how well this team does with a 2nd or 3rd string QB.

Ryan Tannehill and Adam Gase should not be blamed if, or when, all hell breaks loose with the Miami Dolphins this season.

The roster has proven to have an extreme talent disparity.

Despite having three first-round picks on their offensive line, even if we don’t count Mike Pouncey, who’s shockingly injured, and the team’s big uglies are, well, ugly from a production standpoint.

Through three weeks, here’s how their main five fares on a league-wide scale at their respective positions (note: tackles and guards are not separated by side), according to Pro Football Focus:

Brandon Albert: 36th offensive tackle

Laremy Tunsil: 31st offensive guard

Anthony Steen: 27th center

Jermon Bushrod: 48th offensive guard

Ja’Wuan James: 40th offensive tackle

That’s average to poor across the board.

None of Miami’s corners rank among the top 69 players at the position.

Only five players on their entire offense and defense grade out as above average: Ryan Tannehill (No. 12 quarterback), Jarvis Landry (No. 6 receiver), Ndamukong Suh (No. 2 defensive tackle), Cam Wake (No. 12 edge defender), and Reshad Jones (No. 8 safety).

Meanwhile, the play of a whopping 11 players has been deemed below average to poor. It’s going to be a longgg season, y’all.

 at the backup Center being our best rated lineman.

You underestimate the Dolphins power of going about .500 every year. 7-9, 6-10 should do it.

Well Mike Tannenbaum. Gonna Tannenbaum.

The worst year to go .500, or almost, was when Matt Moore ruined our chances at Andrew Luck. $^#& him forever.

Years and Years and Years of awful to horrible Offensive Line play.

It's not 100% on Tannenbaum.
He brought in Steen, he brought in Bushrod, Albert when healthy, Pouncey when healthy, drafted Tunsil as a succesor and guard. Dallas Thomas and Billy Turner as depth.

It's not on Tannenbaum man, they haven't played well. They haven't stayed healthy... What's he supposed to seriously do?

These guys suck, it is what it is.

That's why I've been saying trade all major assets minus WR.

 Wait so if the guys he brought in suck, it's not on him? Because surely, if these guys were playing like Pro Bowlers/All-Pro linemen, he'd be getting the praise as an elite GM

It's not all on him but he has a huge part in it. Dennis Hickey drafted James and brought in Albert right?

Good point but...
Pouncey hurt, he's good.
Albert is always hurt, when healthy he is good.
Tunsil was great in college, playing out of position.
Steen was damn good surprisingly, hurt.
James was good but has regressed this year.

Part of blame is coaching, part of the blame goes to the fact there is no running game... which means the OLine is always back peddling. Blame is on players not being held accountable for their ability. And part of the blame, yes, is the GM.

You can't say this is 100% on the GM though. This team just hasn't come together, and isn't good right now.

I just hope there is a ton of screens, roll out and draws.

RT getting minimal help up front again.

Good god.
