Official Minnesota Twins 2011 Season Thread (47-54) 7/25-7/28 at Texas

None of the batters can hit and none of the pitchers can pitch. Great start to the season.

I cannot recall a poorer looking team to start a season. My goodness. Toronto looks like the '27 Yankees.

The most annoying part of it? They look relatively apathetic about it, it's like they almost know it's coming. "Eh, we're on the road against an AL East team, when's our home opener again?"

Get the hell after it.

Pitching Matchups vs. New York
Monday, April 4th
Scott Baker (0-0, 0.00 ERA) vs. Ivan Nova (0-0, 0.00 ERA)
Tuesday, April 5th
Brian Duensing (0-0, 0.00 ERA) vs. C.C. Sabathia (0-0, 3.00 ERA)
Wednesday, April 6th
Carl Pavano (0-1, 15.75 ERA) vs. Freddy Garcia (0-0, 0.00 ERA)
Thursday, April 7th
Francisco Liriano (0-1, 8.31 ERA) vs. A.J. Burnett (1-0, 5.40 ERA)

I'd say we have an advantage in three of them... but it is on the road versus New York so you never really know.

Actually, you do.

Sweep.

No. That win should be attributed to luck more than anything.

Soriano walked the bases loaded in our big inning.

I just don't know man, we need to make a move. I know it's a marathon but I am sick of knowing what are lineup for the next year will be on opening day of this year

Glad it's ball time though! & Summer in the cities

Soriano had never walked 3 batters in an appearance til tonight. It was part luck but you still have to capitalize.

Things like that can help move things forward, but I'm not counting on it.

Great one to go to.

Nice win... damn this ballpark's dimensions are a $%*#!. Did any of you see how shocked Jason Kubel was when his perceived walk-off didn't actually go out?
