I bluffed on that Nash Suns jersey yesterday
quick question 6' 175lb athletic build, would a size 44 basketball jersey fit well?
Be careful with the Nash/Suns jersey...I wear a M/40 in most M&N bball jerseys but had to return my Nash Medium because it was too tight up-top in the chest area. The '98 black Iverson jersey has the same issue (runs smaller, had to go L/44 on that one). If you work out or have broader shoulders/chest area, some of the medium basketball run small I found. They are fine length-wise but are really tight in the chest area (black Iverson/Nash)

Best option for 17 would probably be to decide which jersey he's copping and then ask recommendations for the size. The gap between 40 and 44 is significant and it's definitely hard to tell which size to cop if you're stuck in between.

I had an authentic Penny Hardaway Suns home Jersey from that era. The material was different than any other Jersey I've purchased. It wasn't just the shiny polyester, but also way stiff in comparison to the 76ers uni from the same era.
I miss my ******* jerseys.
I went to a Lutheran HS with a dress code so when we had homecoming week and could wear what we want we went all out. I remember one day I wore the Hardaway authentic and a guy (who ended up becoming a close friend but wasn't at the time) wore a Stoudemire swingman...there was some shade headed my direction that day lol.
