I bought one back in the day, I swear it took me like 2 years to break it in

/thread.....smh at dude saying outdoor > indoor balls. Are you crazy? LOL I have no desire to play outdoor ever again. Once you go hardwood its hard to play outside.
And the wave! LMFAO! Get that trash way out of this thread! If you like that ball you suck at basketball.
A good friend of mine had the official NBA ball and he would bring it to the gym. I told him that nobody will play with that ball, or believe its the official ball. As most stated, it feels extremely cheap, and slippery out the box.

what the hell... really?
i feel the opposite. i was playing with the TF-1000 at a bball tryout and the ball was slipping like crazy. i never had this issue with my evolution. we changed the ball a few times (to a tf-1000) and it got wet and slippery really fast.
I've had mine a year and a half and it's still hard, slippery, and plastic feeling.Originally Posted by KayCurrency

Once you play with a broken in Official NBA ball, you'll NEVER go back to the traditional composite balls...Thats how buttery the official ball feels once its broken in...![]()
I've already converted most of my hoopin buddies to the Official ball, they love it... but like its been said time-and-time again...Straight out the box? the ball is![]()
Why? If you don't mind me asking, so you can feel like a pro? I don't get it assuming the one that "feels better" offers greater utility.Originally Posted by Mister Friendly

Ever since I've started to play with mines, I now hate Composite balls... but 8/10 times the majority of the people you hoop with will choose the Evolution, solution or the TF-1000 over the NBA ball
Exactly
People are stupid. Most idiots at would rather play with outdoor balls or a Evoultion a really worn ball TF 1000. Me personally I rather play with a NBA Game ball or FIBA game ball, I wanna play with a ball the pros play with not one that"feels better"
