Nets need to keep Marshon Brooks and sign Jeremy Lin, that way they have the Brook-Lin combo.

Nash wasnt going to the Knicks for Fields anyways or period. Good signing for the Raptors if they get both Fields and Nash.

Nah, he's actually just flat out horrible.  His best skill is rebounding which is not something you want from a two guard.  He can't shoot, he can't dribble, he can't really do anything.

Honestly, I thought it was dubious he would even be in the league after this year.  This deal is mind-boggling.

Just one year removed from being named to the All-Rookie first team. I was just kidding about singling out Melo. But his numbers did go down when it happened and I'd say the change in offensive schemes and roster probably didn't help.

Fields isn't worth 6.67/year in this market? Asik isn't worth 8/year in this market? Because that's what these teams are paying, not 10M and 15M.
Landry Fields isn't worth nothing more than a minimum salary contract.  He literally is a SG who can't really score.  Playing in a gimmick fast-pace offsense where he can use his above average athleticism led him to have a decent first half of a rookie season but since than he has been exposed as a horrible player.  His best move on offense is catching lobs.

People just overpaying left and right.  Lockout didn't teach these schmucks anything.  Draymond Green or a handful of late first rounder or early second rounders are far better than Fields.

Raptors will get Nash and still not do $@$*.  Bryan Colangelo is a clown

In this market of forgetting the reason for the lockout

? Yes

But if we're talking what is a true players value...  No. Neither of them are worth it.
