I would go the Foot Patrols just because of the price. You will be able to find the 999 Elites on ebay all over the next couple of months for reasonable prices. But the Patrols for that price, you won't see very often.

It's so true! A lot of good info flying around. Great stuff, everyone.

Instead of trying to keep up, I'd like to switch things up a bit. Here are 5 models I'd like to see New Balance reissue.

• 995. They knocked it out of the park with the 990 and these would be the next logical step.

• 665. I love the colour blocking on these, especially on the midsole of the red version. Think of the possible colourways!

• 900 NBX. Gotta love that crazy gradient N.

• 678. I love the toebox on these. Again, the possible colourways are endless.

And most of all:

• 997 with the original sole. The 997.5 is nice and everything, but the real deal needs to make a comeback, already. Make it happen, NB!

What else needs to return?
