So as far as comfort goes, what would be y’all rank of the models?

I like a ton of color ways/models aesthetically but tbh I prefer choosing a select couple of models that would be most comfortable.

Not sure exactly what you mean by comfortable, but I can say I have never worn a pair of New Balance that actually hurt my feet. Some of the retro models don’t have as much cushion as I like. If you are talking more “lifestyle-ish” models, then I think the V4 is the best, but I haven’t tried the V5 yet. There are also some “performance” models that are super comfortable too, the 1080 comes to mind.

I can only speak on 1300 and 998 (both made in usa). Both very average for comfort. Firmer soles than I'm used to from retro runners from other brands.

997s are firm as well, they have a higher arch on the instep.
