For me, I have to say it won't be the popular pick but I absolutely love the burgundy 990v6. A close second is the ALD 1906r jade.

Kith 993 Spring 101 but I never managed to get those. Out of stuff I got, I would say Lapis Lazuli is my NB SOTY.

990v6 for me. When they came out end of 2022, I wasn’t even a fan of them. But once I got a pair, it’s pretty much what I wear all the time. I have 5 pairs now and still want more. Will definitely get more in 2024.

Way too many dope drops this year , but if I had to choose 1 itll be Baklavas hands down. With Ronnie's Knicks V6's and Cnotes. But Baklavas just hit different

Even though it came out in 22, the v6 should be a top contender for SOTY.

there should be categories for SOTY.
A new design should give you more x-amount of “points”, colorway, comfort, etc.


Carhartt v6 is it for me.

How do the 991v1 UKs fit compared to 993s and 990s?

I went tts on a pair of GR 993s recently and they definitely fit more snug than I’d like.

How do the 991v1 UKs fit compared to 993s and 990s?

I went tts on a pair of GR 993s recently and they definitely fit more snug than I’d like.

A bit narrow but they fit more TTS. Like I would wear 8.5 in 990 but 9 in 991.

I'm new to the NB lifestyle stuff but also don't consider myself much of a collector anymore. With that said, my favorite pick-up for the entire year regardless of brands is the Mindful Grey 990v6 (the cream-colored pair). Very comfortable, super nice casually, and it's significant to me just because it sold me on NB as a whole.
