Kelce’s a TE. And there isn’t a te that anyone can say is so good that kelce isn’t in the same class as him. You can argue gronk is better but anything more is ridiculous.

Who do those TEs block for…? Running backs, right? In a league that nobody even really runs the ball anymore

Modern day NFL is all passing. Dudes have less opportunities to even run block in most formations.

Even if we want to talk downfield blocking in the pass game or Mahomes scrambling, Kelce can be seen holding his own when it comes to blocking. He doesn’t loaf around. The guy definitely blocks

I disagree.. the problem with RBs is the longevity plus replaceability.. it’s finding the RB who can do more than swing passes and screens

but you want to be as versatile as possible with your personal.. and even with your QB, you want a guy they have to account for and can take advantage of free yardage

but if you have a receiving TE who can legit block so it doesn’t necessarily matter what personnel grouping you always have that threat

but if all dude is, is a big WR and can’t block you’re better off going 11 and forcing defense to match you with DBs
