I'm pretty torn, haha, probably cheering for MTL I guess, but really just the western conference, haha

Last fans who sang "Ole, Ole, Ole" to laugh at Montreal were the Penguin's... Keep laughing Philadelphia, it's just the beginning

didn't know where to post this so I'll just throw it in here:

There are several analysts saying the Pittsburgh Penguins should look at trading http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?playerId=3124Evgeni Malkin, but what should the Pens ask for in return?

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review writes, "It must include a top-line wing, a top-pairing defenseman, two roster players and either two top prospects or two first-round picks."

Meanwhile, the New York Post's Larry Brooks writes, "It would, by the way, be insane for the Penguins to trade Evgeny Malkin unless they're getting back Zach Parise in the deal. Which they are not."

Now, there's been some buzz that Parise could be traded, although most of it is unfounded speculation. The Pens, however, may look into trading Malkin because they need to add wingers and http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?playerId=3541Jordan Staal can take over the second-line center role.

The Edmonton Journal's Jim Matheson thinks Malkin will net two top-six forwards. plus a pick or a top-nine forward.

And Matheson thinks the http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/clubhouse?team=edmEdmonton Oilers should look at this possibility, perhaps dealing http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?playerId=1885Ales Hemsky and http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?playerId=2984Dustin Penner, as well as http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/players/profile?playerId=3655Andrew Cogliano.
