Here I was thinking that I was building my PC at the wrong time when I got my Aorus 5080 for $1800 back in June. So glad I finished building my PC just in time before this RAM price spike. Yikes.

What are your thoughts? I picked up an Xbox Ally X and am over the moon about it
We hope to ship in 2026, but as we shared recently, memory and storage shortages have created challenges for us. We’ll share updates publicly when we finalize our plans!
The price they would have to charge with current prices would kill it. Sheesh, might have finally got me out of building though, save me money.
As predicted it went nuts. Also this hurt looking back on ordersThe price they would have to charge with current prices would kill it. Sheesh, might have finally got me out of building though, save me money.
Left console gaming @ XBOX One and haven't looked back. Me and my folks wish that we would've made the jump sooner. From a PC gaming and DIY build perspective, the segment is growing like wildfire... its leaving console gaming in the dust (popularity & profitabilty)... So with demand continuing to escalate (the last decade), combined with the AI driven hardware demand, its all being curved as of late... I just try to look at things as if it were my own coffee shop, and what I'd do to maximixe profits for the longevity of my own business... its tough to argue that anyone is to "blame" so to speak... the foundation of it all is organic growth and something PC enthusiats should be proud of... They were right, PC gaming is superior and more and more are realizing it everyday. Still, we all vote with our wallets and things will mend some. Not that "snapback" but more in our favor.
All this crap is starting to sit because its far too overpriced, ultimately we still control the market... it just takes some time to shift and adapt. They are still nothing without us.
