Price increases will still be blamed on the Dems and Biden. It'll be interesting to see how many people actually fall for that.

Also, it may not be a bad idea to go ahead and buy a PlayStation 5 if you haven't already.

There are people who somehow blame Obama for 9/11 to this day, so of course they’re going to blame Biden and Obama for any of Trump’s failed economic policies.

Personally, I believe all of this should be blamed on trans athletes and people who put Latinx in their bios.

About to jump jobs for a 50% pay bump. Tariffs can go burr for all I care I’ll still be in the same financial situation.

I find it ironic how those of us who can afford the tariff spikes can afford it voted against Trump but those who can’t are about to get royally ****** by them.

Because even if we think on a selfish level, we don’t want the society around us to be @$&$ and come back to affect us in other ways, which will inevitably happen if the economy crashes due to lack of proper regulation.

Nobody in parents’ neighborhood needed security alarms, cameras, etc. from 2000 until 2008-09ish. I wonder what happened back then that changed things permanently?

Ezra Klein said something interesting about this:

Working class voters believe in the aspirations of work (hard work and only hard work makes you rich). Trump and Musk represent the average person's view of what a billionaire is like. When Democrats show up with their housing programs, childcare cost reduction bills, and free college and healthcare, the working class thinks "I don't want handouts, I want to earn it."

--------------

The reality is (and honest folks who have gone up the economic ladder will admit it), the subsidies that conservatives demonize are the same government programs they take advantage of to get ahead. The average worker just has to look at Musk's reliance of government money to get Tesla and Space X off the ground. Unfortunately, the same voices that demonize government help also encourage the working class to not look. "Be proud of your common sense and don't try to think beyond it. Keep turning that wrench and one day, you'll unlock the safe and take all the money that's in it"

Tariffs got me getting rid of our extra car before I’m stuck with it b/c nobody wants to afford it (I don’t want to, either ). Much rather stash that $$ away to earn some interest, given the buffoonery that’s about to ensue.

On a related note, it’s wild that Americans are having to make financial plans like this due to the incoming president. I really can’t remember another time when that was the case. Usually you just understand you may pay a little more on taxes. But this orange ******* has people questioning their healthcare, job security, VA benefits, SSI, food security, immigration status and on and on. Hell, my kid just doubled up on classes for her Masters degree b/c the department at the college she works for, who pays her tuition, will likely be axed under Trump. I really can’t express just how much I loathe this gump. :smh: :smh:

Congrats bro :hat

“I don’t need a union the government has labor laws”

I wonder what the Trump supporting union members think about the NLRB being attacked now? Must not be so economically anxious if they’re cool with going back to the days of open union busting and infiltration/manipulation. Wonder what their motivation for voting was then. Definitely not identity politics :rolleyes

So how much are y`all going to be paying for new Jordans when these tariffs hit? Nike has already been putting it to you for a while now.
white and white Air Force 1 lows or black on black's going for $119 at the outlet now. Them ****s used to be $59.99 at the PX in the late 90's/early 00's

Da face when you can't trust the USDA label on the steak so you cook it well done to avoid tapeworms...

*Votes against big government*

They don’t even know what that is.

Laborers union was talking about how he’s going to go after project labor agreements too but it’s worth it not to advance the trans agenda. 🧏‍♂️🧏‍♂️

I’m not too concerned being private sector in MN. if I was a public employee I’d look for a new job asap.

Definitely a leader that you need to be following their lead...

They're all very transparently telling everyone that it's about to get really rough for them soon and a lot of people are enthusiastically marching along saying to themselves 'oh well they only mean for them, they don't mean us too' :lol :{

I don’t get it man. One of my old co workers who’s a Trumper (who hasn’t said a thing since the election) sometimes will message me and try to “debate,” he has mentioned Javier many times and seems to think that what he’s doing is the answer. It’s like a hive mind for these people i swear.
