Colorado legalization makes possession legal, but public use is still illegal. Washington as well.

Depends on the level of regulation. It might be restricted to coffee-shop style venues or it might be sold at state dispensaries and then it'll be OK to consume in certain places (excluding public schools, malls, parks etc.)...gotta wait and see. *goes to do more research and book ticket*

Unbelievable!

Gotta get up out this military

I actually disliked Ryan more.

Oh hell yeah, Ryan is much more unlikable on policy than Romney.....but people like him are the types that they keep trotting out there, radicals. They need to adapt for the future it will benefit us all to have solid representation from all parties, democrats don't have solutions for everything need diversity in race, religion, personal background, social status, gender, sexual orientation, etc. in our representation

And kudos to Romney, he handled it with the upmost class :smokin

Not to play devil's advocate, but wouldn't you hope that WOULD be the case? I mean if a guy thinks he is what the American people needs, wouldn't you hope that he'd be upset that he won't be able to deliver for them? Just my opinion.

Just posted that for sh*ts and giggles

Of course he should be emotional, I would be bawling during the speech

Ok so let me get this straight, with Colorado legalizing marijuana as reported on yahoo, anyone over the age of 21 can smoke with no legal constraints? Like you can blaze in front of a cop and they can do nothing? Can someone clarify this for me please

You cant even drink alcohol in front of cops. Pretty sure its just you can freely smoke it in your home or some ****.

baby steps b

Via Wikipedia:
Shall there be an amendment to the Colorado constitution concerning marijuana, and, in connection therewith, providing for the regulation of marijuana; permitting a person twenty-one years of age or older to consume or possess limited amounts of marijuana; providing for the licensing of cultivation facilities, product manufacturing facilities, testing facilities, and retail stores; permitting local governments to regulate or prohibit such facilities; requiring the general assembly to enact an excise tax to be levied upon wholesale sales of marijuana; requiring that the first $40 million in revenue raised annually by such tax be credited to the public school capital construction assistance fund; and requiring the general assembly to enact legislation governing the cultivation, processing, and sale of industrial hemp?

Sounds like they want to regulate it like alcohol... recreational use permitted. California take notes this would help our deficit.

Tonight, we find out if the rumor is true.........

America went black, will it go back?

So while watching Fox News tonight I decided to look around for what exactly Fox News viewers actually believe. Enjoy.

LINK

For years the left-wing has been saying that Fox News viewers are “uneducated” or “misinformed”, but now a study has come out that might confirm those suspicions.

According to a new survey of Fox News viewers by Reuters, this is what Fox News viewers believe:

67% Believe Barack Obama’s name sounds suspicious.

45% Believe that homosexuals are polygamists

2% Believe that science is more important than faith

90% Believe that all of the Founding Fathers were born in the United States of America, even though it had not yet been created when the Founding Fathers were born.

56% Believe Sarah Palin went to an Ivy League Law school.

99% of Fox News viewers who were Medicare recipients said they opposed “socialized medicine.”

94% Believe Reagan lowered the National Debt.

15% Believe that George Washington defeated the King of England in a duel for America.

88% Believe that Bill Clinton failed as a President, because of his affair with Monica Lewinsky.

75% Believe that people on welfare are lazy.

24% Believe Santa Claus is real.

36% Believe the “Bill of Rights” is legislation introduced by the Republican Party to stop “Barack Obama’s socialist agenda.”

99% Believe that communism, socialism, fascism and tyranny are all the same.

70% Believe Barack Obama was born in Kenya

38% Believe Barack Obama was born in Indonesia

85% Don’t think Hawaii was even a state when Barack Obama was born

76% Believe Sarah Palin has an “Alaskan accent.”

92% Believe that Bill Clinton left Barack Obama with a surplus, which he spent.

96% Believe the economy was doing great when Barack Obama took office.

84% Believe the Tea Party is a grassroots movement without any corporate sponsorship.

94% Believe the Constitution mentions Jesus Christ as America’s savior.

23% Believe FEMA is building concentration camps.

63% Believe Glenn Beck is a healthy weight

37% Believe Nancy Pelosi is a witch, and that she can cast spells.

25% Believe Anthony Weiner’s resignation was good for the economy.

74% Believe that unemployment is higher now than it was during the Great Depression.

92% Couldn’t find Iraq on a map.

9% Believe that homosexuals are trying to take over America with glitter.

93% Couldn’t name the 7 continents.

12% Believe John Quincy Adams was a Founding Father.

99% Believe that the Government doesn’t create jobs, but 95% of those surveyed credit Governor Rick Perry (R-TX) with creating 1 million jobs as Governor of Texas.

While some of these might seem comical, the most shocking result from the study was this:

100% of Fox News viewers said they wouldn’t care if the entire country fell apart as long as Barack Obama isn’t elected to a second term.

Also this...

Another study has concluded that people who only watch Fox News are less informed than all other news consumers.

Researchers at Fairleigh Dickinson University updated a study they had conducted in late 2011. That study only sampled respondents from New Jersey, where the university is located. This time, the researchers conducted a nationwide poll.

The poll asked questions about international news (Iran, Egypt, Syria and Greece were included) and domestic affairs (Republican primaries, Congress, unemployment and the Keystone XL pipeline.)

The pollsters found that people were usually able to answer 1.8 out of 4 questions on foreign news, and 1.6 of 5 questions on domestic news, and that people who don't watch any news were able to get 1.22 of the questions on domestic policy right.

As the study explained, though, people who watched only Fox News fared worse:

The largest effect is that of Fox News: all else being equal, someone who watched only Fox News would be expected to answer just 1.04 domestic questions correctly -- a figure which is significantly worse than if they had reported watching no media at all. On the other hand, if they listened only to NPR, they would be expected to answer 1.51 questions correctly; viewers of Sunday morning talk shows fare similarly well. And people watching only "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart" could answer about 1.42 questions correctly.

Other networks also did badly in some sections; MSNBC viewers and Fox News viewers both fared worse in answering international questions than people who watched no news.

People who only listened to NPR or watched Sunday morning talk shows or "The Daily Show" did the best in the study.
