The crowded Democratic field of are trying to Avenge their fallen Dims, but it is going to be easy work for Donald Tranos. Libs are toast.

EASY WORK indeed. Picture of our PRESIDENT ELECT in his 2020 battle armor.

We need to know what's really in his heart and mind before we can judge. What he says does not always equal how he feels. We should wait for due process to run its course.

Couldn't have said it any better. Multiple meanings could be derived from our PRESIDENT ELECT's statements so we must accept his explanation for Due process reasons.

Btw, if Dems want to be taken seriously as the Party of the poor, middle class and marginalized they should not act like there is no big deal in taking corporate PAC or lobbyist money. And if you don't need the money, don't take the money.

Sure maybe some people on the left overblow how much influence money buys. Like being mad at candidates that take money from employee PACs or demanding they return a regular donation of a person that happens to be an oil executive is a bit much. Plus some people gotta realize that some rich liberals just want to help the Dems is 95% or their goals, but are protecting their interest on them going left with tax reform. It pisses me off but it is what it is.

Joe Biden is presenting himself as a win at all cost candidate. While I think that sentiment is important, the Democratic Party does not need to sell part of its soul in the process.

But for the love of God. If voters demand such things, they gotta show up for politicians at the polls.

I more meaningful pledge is to make sure former lobbyist and corporate execs don't get to place people in the cabinet. No more snakes in the grass like Timothy Geithners. The next Eric Holder can head the Civil Rights Division of DOJ but not put in charge of going after Wall St.

When we’re talking about money spent on a particular election, after a few million on a larger Stare wide race or 20-30 in a Presidential election, the diminishing marginal returns to money spent start to kick in quickly.

The biggest effect on money in politics has been on US House races, smaller to mid sized State Senate and governors and Secretary of State races and State legislative races.

The amounts of money spent on those races is small enough that a six figure infusion of corporate money through a super PAC often times will decide the winner and it’s been on those elections where the GOP’s overall fundraising edge has allowed them to take over most Stare governments and fill them with political functionaries who owe their office to GOP benefactors and govern accordingly.

The big challenge is in generalizing the small dollar donations model and getting money from progressive individual donors who want to get money to cash strapped progressive candidates in poor districts and “fly over country.” If you have good politics and a good paying job, chances are that your local US and State reps are Dems so unless your local Dem incumbent is terrible and is being challenged by an AOC quality challenger, donate your money to good progressives who are trying to flip a GOP held seat.

When acts like these are committed in African and South American countries, conservatives use them as talking to points make bull**** arguments against socialism and dog whistles about black and brown people.

But when they do it, they are somehow protecting the country by eroding democracy.

Liberals and Leftist have to gain power to save conservatives from themselves. Because if you rob people of peaceful methods to gain agency over their lives, sooner or later they will turn to violent ones.

When poor people start committing home invasions to pay for Chemo, they will be past the point of wanting to hear about bipartisanship on healthcare, automatic voter registration, or independent commission to draw districts.
