I'm sure many have asked but why is he not banned from twitter? All the dangerous lies he posts everyday along with all the racist / hateful garbage should be enough for a ban. If anything, I won't have to hear newscasts reference something he tweets every half hour. Maybe it's because I didn't pay much attention to the news before 4 years ago but I don't remember Obama being a constant news story everyday. These past 4 years have been absolutely disgusting with having to hear about trump everyday for something bad he did.

It is unsatisfying trust me I’m in the same boat but this is something i remind myself of for perspective.
imagine it’s a relay race and the next person I have to hand the baton off to isn’t a teammate I like and I know he’s not as fast as I’d hope he would be take the baton to the next runner on our team. It’s extremely frustrating to think about how slow it’ll be to complete this race.
BUT at the same time the opposing team has been having its runners literally grab my shirt and is actively pulling me back and slowing down my progress or straight up halting my progress at times they even been tripping me up. And the officials arent doing anything about it cause the officials where appointed by the opposing team.
I can’t lose sight of the fact that no matter how much I don’t like my teammate I have to hand the baton off too and how slow he is the BIGGEST problem I’m currently facing is the other team holding me back from being able to hand off that baton to one of the slowest members of my team because they even see that as a massive threat to them winning.
In short I can’t be so mad at my slow and annoying teammate that I overlook the opponents pulling my shirt and tripping me up to stop me from even handing off the baton

If he wasn't president his Twitter would've been permanently terminated many such tweets ago.
For the record, I agree with Twitter's position on exempting active government officials from their ToS. I don't think they should be in the business of banning heads of state and other government officials, as well as their spokespersons, under any circumstances.
If anything I would just put a marker on those kind tweets so everyone can see that tweet would ordinarily be grounds for suspension.
