Ivanka gotta feel some type of way with all of these creepy pedo incest comments over the years, right?

The libertarian/white supremacists idea that only "men of property" should have the franchise is telling for a few reasons.

One is that it assumes that people with wealth will use political power for the common good while those without property cannot/will not.

The other really telling thing is that while libertarians think that everyone is a "rational actors" and yet they do not trust most of those rational actors to vote for their libertarians policies, policies that libertarians claim are objectively superior.

If redistributive economic policies are ultimately bad for all people (including the groups whom those policies claim to help), would all voters, no matter their station, vote for libertarian policies and thus we'd have no need for property requirements to vote.

In short, libertarians know that their policies are not good for most people. Either that, or they think that their policies are good for everyone but they dn't trust the majority to pursue theose policies which means that many libertarians are juts as paternalistic as those socialists whom they decry.

Some evidence:

Shook Barry's hand once. I'm 5'11 and was wearing dress shoes and he was legitimately a full head taller than me. Willing to bet that most/all world leaders often wear lifts for the optics when they know cameras are on them.

Maybe they've switched to ocean water. In other Navy news,

BOWMAN: Well, with the Fitzgerald, one officer I spoke with who has a lot of experience said this was a breakdown in ship driving 101. He said first of all the officers aboard the Fitzgerald misjudged the distance between their ship and the cargo ship which they ran into, and also they didn't contact the captain of the ship when they were clearly in trouble. And also, remarkably, Rachel, they said these officers lacked the basic knowledge of radar and the fundamental rules of the nautical road. It's remarkable.

And in the case of the McCain, this is even more stunning. There was confusion about who was actually driving the ship and who was operating the engines. There was sort of split duty here. And as a result, one of the engines was going faster than the other and the ship actually turned into a cargo ship. And, again, that led to the deaths of 10 sailors.

This is exactly the kind of nonsense we warn about every time we talk about the need to invest in human capital. What's the point of spending billions in military equipment if you can't use its most basic functions? Or read a scale?
