Naw paulwest1985 paulwest1985 is right ..the right wing is about to make Charlie a martyr..I wouldn't be surprised if he a building, law etc named after him
Brother, this country and it's racist rabid fanbase didn't need Charlie Kirk to get punctured in the neck to go further right.

They've been doing this for a while now without any provocation

You’re describing legal procedure. Other countries have different version of laws and legal procedures.

Property rights is maybe the most immutable part of US law and in many ways the foundation of everything else.

Procedure isn’t separate from law, it’s how rights get enforced. sure, property rights are important but they’re not the ‘foundation of everything.’ The Constitution itself puts free speech, due process, and equal protection on the same level. Those aren’t just procedures, they’re core rights that courts defend as strongly as property.

Laugh it up and celebrate while you can, I guess. But come mid-terms this will only further push this country to the right. The more you mock and cheer, the more you will push Charlie to martyr status.
Why could the same not be said about the two dem politicians who got shot in Minnesota?

Why do folks give conservatives a pass when they use violence to assert their political position?

FTR, I don’t condone anybody getting shot, but some folks need to realize that the right isn’t the only side that’s willing to go there.

Not happy he is dead

Wished he had survived

Violence like this not good. It becoming more common is a bad sign

Feel sorry for his kids

But I am not gonna feel sad over his death.

He was a hateful bigot that didn't care, and often flippantly mocked cruelty happening to others.

And wanted more inflicted onto them

He advocates for a country where stuff like this can become more common

If your main concern right now is trying to lecture some liberals for not being nice enough, you look like a jackass

Not morally superior, just a plain and simple farm raise low grade jackass.

Spare me the pearl clutching

Political climate change is heating up.

Whatever you think of this most recent victim of the discourse, things are going to get worse, before they get even worse.

My American friends, move with caution, this is the land of wolves now.

Which is why I don’t discuss politics with randoms anywhere in public. Only select friends who I know we can just chatter and forget about it.

Always been the case unfortunately yet they will willfully obfuscate and deny their roles in creating this very real culture of politically fueled violence in the country.

This guy was one of the worst and most high profile examples of that but that still won't be enough for some soul searching, they'll double down on the violence and rhetoric instead 100%

So if this pushes the country right, I guess Hortman being assassinated pushed it left

Guess were back in the middle

or something like that

^ I was gonna reference the “People get shot everyday B. You’ll be alright” scene…but that’s not relevant anymore…

I think if India is bold enough to assassinate Sikh nationalist in USA and Canada, im guessing they probably wouldn't bother with the cover ops if there were sikh nationals were in quatar.

Hard to argue a hypothetical...

either way it feels like countries are getting more bold with this stuff.

That we can agree on.

The original point that was made, however, was that the US would lose its mind if Israel or India or anyone launched a drone attack within US borders. I just said it's hard to argue a hypothetical, but I think the response would be very different to our response over, say, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun

Everybody with even passing knowledge of history has been blaring the alarms and warning bells for a few years now, we haven't arrived here in a vaccuum but apparently woke is dead so it's unacceptable to even discuss root causes and systemic issues anymore let alone actually try to address them 🤷🏿‍♂️

Now the same voices responsible for creating these conditions will be the ones telling people what to do to fix the problem :lol>D

*hint hint, their conclusion will always be to lay all fault at the feet of the 'others' and the solution will be more and more punitive measures until they're completely marginalized or eradicated

I give no damns about a racist, hate spewing white supremacist getting popped.

The bar is so low that some ppl seem to think because a person isn’t directly using slurs, they're just “sharing their opinion”, when in fact they’re doing everything in their power to influence others to adopt their ideology and limit the rights of anyone who isn’t a straight, white male.

Good riddance.

For me they are procedures, I can’t explain it well cause it had to be drilled in me, but what is commonly referred to as rights are procedures in trials and arbitrations. So showing the opposite side was not following those procedures “aka rights” is the best way to win…. Like I live in evidence and procedure, and then go to the substantive part of the case which is referred to as the facts.

Property law is a foundation of most of our rights, going back to the constitution and the bill of rights. Property is where the colonist and later Americans had the biggest issue legally because they considered black people property and natives had no right to own property if claimed by a settler.

I had to do a lot of reading and spent years taking classes to confidently say what I said and feel free to get another professionals opinion but property rights is the most immutable thing in the law. You can go state to state and 95% of it (maybe more) carries over between states. That’s unique and I would argue planned by the founding fathers.
