yes the bluefield fit same as the LC23 x Bottega x Puma R698 and both fit like the New Balance 998. I wear size 11 and usually size 12 for Asics GLV as a reference

They are a size 11.

I actually wear an 11 in all NB and Saucony as well, so I think these might be fine. 11.5 is quite snug for me in GLIII/GLV, so I think I could fit a 12 in those as well.

I'd say go with your New Balance 998 size

I think you'll be fine with an 8 or an 8.5.
