Not having that fabric midsole is in improvement to me. I have the OG's and Retros in the Orlando colorway. I also own the Pheonix color and the Black/Red. Fabric midsole is over rated. Especially on the Orlando color.

This was prolly already mentioned....but NDC has the IV's for only $100....not sure why they're lower than eastbay, etc.

They have heel max and forefoot zoom I believe.

Love these joints...quality isn't thaaaaaat bad.

yeah no problem...

If I wanted to get serious with it I could get in there with an exacto and get the blue out, but they're pretty clean...and you could cover that area with the strap anyway. They're just a @#%$ to get on and gettin that elastic off makes them incredibly more comfortable.

i just copped the IVs from NDC for 119 shipped

im kinda dissapointed that the blue lining above the black strap is missing, its all white now. why is nike cheaping out on us, pretty lame. although i must say that ive always liked the IV style and im pretty glad i got them

can someone please post pictures of any upcoming IV colorways, besides the black/whites...thanks

With all the talk about "hype" and "beasting" here the last few years, one thing that is refreshing is the true popularity of a great designed shoe. All the Pennys IMO somehow fit in that category.

I mean, face it -- dude only had a couple great years, and a couple "good" years as a player. His shoes makes his brief flashes of brillance everlasting. Only the IIIs -- because of major defects with the plastic sides on the leather -- hit places like "A&N" and outlet-type spots. I remember getting them for 39.99...

I've argued for years that the Penny I-IV line only comes second to Jordans in b-ball sneakers, and we'll see the IIs and IIIs in due time...

chu757... I can't speak for the Penny IV retros, but if you have wide feet I hope you own a pair of Penny 1s. They are one of the widest basketball shoes ever!

This is like the elvis of shoes or something. The hope that the Orlando Penny 1's will release just won't die. Don't get me wrong I'd love for them to come back just as the next person, but it's not happening, at least in the near future. On to the Penny 2's.
