might have one or two left over for others after my friends decide

I envision Trey Lance to look a lot like Herbert eventually but, he just doesn’t have a layered intermediate throw as part of his arsenal yet.

But it’s the processing. Once it clicks for these NFL QB’s you know. Currently Burrow/Herbert for the young guys got it down.

This version of Trey Lance will be sloppy until that processing catches up. They will simplify the offense this week.

If we get Herbert in Lance,🥵🥵🥵… plus he’s better with his legs.

In keeping expectations realistic, as Herbert may be a very rare QB, let’s root for Trey to progress and grow, and keep us in the playoff/SB hunt for years to come.

Trey Lance’s game is so eerily similar to Deshaun Watson’s it’s crazy when you watch compare and contrast.

I first watched Lance 2 years ago my buddy lives out in Minnesota and he tells me “ yo watch this kid from North Dakota State who played at a small 1A town high school. Minnesota coaching staff recruited him as a safety.”

I immediately recognized he was too much talent for the D1 -AA ball and that his ability to play from under center was natural and his throwing on the move was effortless. I know (god given fact) he would have stuck around 1 more year he would have been 1st overall pick next year so, 49ers are lucky to have him.

With all that being said he has major issues with touch passing currently. Not the deep ball the intermediate and the throws that appear like lay-ups. Josh Allen had same flaws and he is now upper echelon super-star.

Luckily he has an unbelievable work ethic based on multiple sources and already shows poise on the latter drives. With the amount of weapons we have on offense coupled with a few running backs coming back from injured, he will have more than enough of a cushion to hone his skills and simultaneously succeed with a playbook based around his skillset.

Thanks for posting this the other day! Sent my girl to grab me a couple! Felt like a kid when I realized the teeth-were glow in the dark lol. If my uncle doesn’t pick his up might make a Large available

Also this Sunday there will be some good but there will be a lot of bad. Expect a heavy dose of Trey Sermon.

shanalynch should be RB shopping this week in addition to kicker

if trey lance is too raw and they need to rely heavily on the run game, the trio of trey sermon jacques patrick and trenton canon not going to cut it

time to go out and kick some free agent tires. todd gurley adrian peterson tj yeldon deandre washington and frank gore all out there unsigned. none of them are the dream but the 9ers don't have the luxury of waiting for the perfect fit.

Tyler Ervin could be a good fit too because he's a RB and a return specialist. 9ers need a return guy rn. continuing throwing deebo and ayk out there as returners is way too big of a risk to the top WRs

If we released Kerryon and Thompson then I feel like Elijah will be back this Sunday

edit— and we already signed a kicker

i don't know much about him but his stats are decent. 29/36 on field goals and 33/36 on extra points with carolina in 2020 (did carolina have the same number of FGs and XP attempts on the season that year?

87.7% touchbacks on Kickoffs too which is probably for the best as well.

gould out 3-5 weeks tho that sucks. i wish his contract ended this year instead of next. i think it's he's getting too old even to be a kicker

Usually I’m down with PFF but “turnover worthy play” is a dumb af sounding metric ngl.

if it isn’t a turnover idgaf

what are we gonna get next? A stat on RBs for ‘almost fumbling’? Fumble worthy plays? if they kept the rock they kept the rock.

I don’t think measuring things that could have happened but didn’t is very valid way of presenting data.

Fumbles is a stat, recovery or not.
