Purdy didn’t win them the game. But he damn sure didn’t lose it either. Unless you can get an absolute superstar qb via trade (unlikely). Let’s be real about the qb situation. Trey Lance is an all time bust at the 3rd overall pick. I can count on 2 hands how many top 10 first round pick qb busts there’s been over the last 5 seasons. Unless Mahomes has a falling out with the Chiefs, there’s no guarantee the next flavor of the year top college qb is destined to be the answer.

Purdy is definitely good. But I firmly believe there’s like 10+ different guys that could also be a similar level of good, if not better with the best running back in the league, top 5 receiving core, top 5 tight end, top 5 defense.
