Alex Smith is still Alex, but it really does seem like they playcalling puts him in very good situations (what coaches should be doing) to make plays. Really fortunate Kitna's made some mistakes this game so far.

Brooking. And Jerry Jones had a chance to sign a proven vet like Akers but he went cheap at kicker, just like he went cheap on the OLine. Great GM there
 
I don't mind that call. It makes it a two score game...in all likelihood the 49ers would have kicked another FG anyway.
 
Huge props to Romo. He is doing as much as he can with this OLine playing like %+++ and getting him hit every time. THAT'S what I've been wanting to see from him. He's gotta just hang in the pocket and take that hit and deliver the ball.
 
This why they shoulve took the penalty, played conservative and took more time off the clock. I hope the niners play to win here and not just to take time off the clock.
