:::OFFICIAL SNEAKER CARE/MAINTENANCE POST::: (It's back!)

I’m new to Sole Sauce, will it ruin the toe cap (turn to white instead off of-white) or turn the soles blue on my Maroon 6s? Thank you for your time.

Anyone else work on OG Shadow 10's? So many factories with a ton of variations in aging, including a variety of spots depending on the pair (DS). Suggestions?

Hey guys so my collection is growing old. Just wore the Chicago 10s from 2011 and they separated. I’d like to try and repair them myself since I think I’ll be doing other pairs. Is there a good kit that I can put together for myself? Also I’m assuming I use barge cement? I guess a good question would be what dremel bit to use on what material? I was watching a video where the guy says to use a metal bit on the 11 clear sole because if the texture. But if there’s a good video with info for a beginner I would love to watch it

Looks like a pretty strait forward job.

It’s very straight forward. Use a metal dremel bit but be easy and remove just the glue if possible. Barge cement infinity in the green can is the one you want. Place on both sides, let sit for 8 minutes, and then place together and then hold for 24 hours using painters tape and towels to keep pressure all over. Also, stuff the uppers before taping down.

Anybody know a reliable site to get AJ 3,7, and 12 replacement back tabs/tabs? I had a few marked, but they seem defunct now.

ISSUE: PL SCRATCHES on AJI

QUESTION:
I need help removing some very minor factory scratches from my top 3 Gold PL AJ1’s. I bought them a half size too small, needed to sell them and stocks rejected them because of a tiny scratch you can barely see.

Sanitizer and petroleum jelly did not work.. I read about nail polish remover but also read that acetone can be harsh on PL so I’m not sure what to use?

NEVER use acetone on PL unless you're stripping the layer to repaint it or restore faded colors. I'm not sure how to fix PL scratches, if I get up to that stage, I'll let you know if you don't find out before me lol.

On another note... finally getting around to some restorations. I think I had these out of rotation for at least 7 years. More to come....

Its really a new day now. Happening in the front too.

Tho iirc, this started happening on my Bron 3s as well.

Got some Silver Duncan foams somewhere that need the same treatment. Gotta find them first ofc.

What’s the best method for ink stain removal from clear outsoles? Damn receipt in the box 🤦🏼‍♂️.

These babies are about 9 months old… I’ve worn them out a few times and wiped them down with a rag once. The other pair in the back (stopped cleaning/wearing) were bought at the same time for reference.

I am considering ironing the toe on the AMM 4 Violet Ore Colorway to get that AJ4 Sb look. Anyone have any experience with avoiding risk to damaging the shoe ?
