I typically stay away from namesets because players change teams too often for my taste... I can only imagine if i'd put RVP on any of the 10+ arsenal jerseys I own... Anyone know if you can cop custom EPL namesets (IE to ready ones nickname or own name) anywhere online?

Can one also just cop EPL Barclays patches anywhere by themselves? want to add em slowly over time to many of my blank Gooner kits... any help would be appreciated.

i always wonder how tight a LS Techfit will fit lol.
But yea i do love the Authentic version of this shirt, especially with the Trophy patch above the Adidas logo

Im the same, I want my jersey official as possible.
I didnt care at all at first, but now that i collect player issue jerseys i want every single patch
and name kit. It just makes collecting jerseys fun as well.
Especially if you buy the name kit separately, I feel like everyone has a unique jersey in their own way by customization.
Lets say I have a UCL Patch instead of the LFP patch, theres a difference in the jersey already, and you can really
tell who really put money on to their jersey by looking at it

I usually wear a Large in most cases but the Adidas tech fit style always makes me order at least an XL. They run real tight.

Not sure if you all recall that I received my 14/15 Real Madrid Home Shirt slightly damaged. Well after 3 weeks and DHL quoting me $80 to send the shirt back, the Real Madrid store is just going to send another one!

Question regarding name sets.

Depending on how good the kit looks, do some of you leave it off or do you feel the need to have the kit done as fully as possible? I ask because some kits look better as blanks imo.

Depending on the kit yea I'll leave a name set off. I personally think it's more funny finding an old shirt with name set than just buying the shirt and hoping to find the name set to go with it.

I also buy shirt/ name sets combos of favorite players regardless if they change teams for collection purposes.

National team shirts always get a name set.

Question regarding name sets.

When I started collecting jerseys I took the same approach I had with football/baseball/basketball jerseys. It always short circuited my brain when I saw someone rocking a jersey of a player who no longer played for that team (i.e.- wearing a Shaq Magic jersey months after he got traded to the Lakers). I know this might sound stupid to some but this was my logic. When I get into soccer I quickly realized how fast and often the players change teams so naturally I was afraid to buy a kit with a name because he might get transferred in the next window, then I'd be stuck with a Robinho Man City kit when he's in Brazil playing for Santos. I didn't have to worry about this with national team kits so those were the only nameset kits I owned. Now I have changed my opinion on the subject. The kits in soccer are so unique and change (sometimes drastically) from season to season that any true fan knows that a particular kit from a particular year had that player on the roster (strangely worded). I have close to 30 kits and only one has a nameset. Although I do agree that some kits just look better as blanks after finding this thread I realized I need to get to work on finding name sets because nothing beats a complete kit.

Same question. But for myself I wear a sz M in my nike and adidas kit. I wanna get the match usa home bc the stadium home is smaller than normal M . I'm thinking a L in match would be perfect just like my adidas authentic on field kit.

Hold on your'e confusing me here lol too many terms.

When you say "Match" jersey are you referring to Authentic jerseys?

And when you said "stadium" jersey are you referring to replica jerseys?

Usually the term Match Jersey is the actual jersey the players literally wear on the pitch,

for example there are "Match Worn" & "Match Unworn" jerseys, from what ive heard players are prepared with 3 jerseys in their locker room.

"Match Worn" are the ones they have worn on the pitch and "Match Unworn" are the extra ones they havnt worn in the locker room.

"Stadium" Jerseys are referred to as Nike's replica of a replica (cheaper version with a tag on the collar)

If you mean "Match" Jersey as in Authentic jerseys, then yes Nike & Adidas both fit tighter.

- Nike only has 1 Authentic type, but through out the season it changes as well, for example the older Nike authentics

  has T-bars on the shoulders, which the 14/15 season jerseys do not.

  Vent hole style on the other hand changes as well time to time.

- Adidas has 3 types of authentics

 1. Formotion - fits similar to Nike Authentics, i dont think Adidas makes Formotion authentics anymore, i think they have stopped making

    these after the 13/14 season.

 2. Techfit - fits much tighter, i would recommend getting atleast 1 or 2 sizes up depending on how you like the fit, some techfit

     also comes with a webbing all around the jersey, its noticeable if you look at the back of the jersey, I dont think they make

     techfits anymore either, i have not seen any 2014/15 jerseys in Techfit

 3. Adizero - Most likely will fit something similar to the formotion jerseys, Adizero is the new Adidas Authentic started this season 2014/15.

unfortunately i dont have pics at the moment but, i usually wear my black free runs or basic color half cabs, with either khakis, black jeans, or regular denim (all Levis)

with all my jerseys (Nike & Adidas), Im pretty sure you can pull Nikes off even if you are wearing an Adidas jersey, i dont try to stunt anymore honestly lol i just

wear soccer jersey as a chill attire, i dont think anyone would pay attention to the brand of the jersey, but pay attention to the team itself.

I always get comments on the jersey or get asked if i support the team.

This is off topic but it seems to me people take it way too serious when people see me wearing a Madrid jersey one day & see me wearing a Barca jersey the next day.

Im a soccer jersey collector, idk why people make a big *** deal lol. I support couple of different teams for sure, 1 club per league i suppose.

Ah, I really try not to be matchy-matchy with brands. It only looks okay when an athlete is actually sponsored by a certain brand. 

I'd rather mismatch brands, than wear top to bottom Nikes/Adidas like I'm a hotshot. If you're gonna do it, at least make it subtle, I guess. Not try to show off all the brands you're wearing.

i honestly wouldnt wear jordans with soccer jerseys, because i havnt been into the sneaker game since my high school days,

but im pretty sure it'll look good depending on how you wear it.

I would probably wear 1,3,4,10,11,12's with soccer jerseys but all neutral colors, like true blues, cements, space jams, concords, etc. simple colors, nothing crazy like

DTRT's, Aquas, etc.

I usually get comments and questions with all team gear I wear. There's jerseys that look dope that I've copped for the colors or design, and I may have never seen them even play let alone be a fan of. I'm a huge fan of all NY teams, but I still have some gear of their rivals. Some folks don't understand that at all, but doesn't bother me a bit.

I did buy the Nike Tokyo free OG's when I bought my japanese NT shirts and they match perfectly even though the shirts are adidas.

I own a lot more shirts manufactured by adidas than any other brand and typically wear adidas shoes 9/10 times, but not for matching purposes.
