weird. twitter reported that they'd wear that jersey..
maybe the league didn't allow it? maybe rakuten opposed it? the jersey had no sponsor. i bought the messi printed shirt off worldsoccershop, but last time i checked i couldn't see it there. hopefully it ships.. lol

Wore the away jersey today. Not as loud as I thought it would be.
Gonna look on eBay for a good name set and add it on.
Was just thinking about this kit the other day. I usually don't like bright yellows/greens, but I think this jersey somehow works.

Does anyone know of a shop I can send these to get heat-pressed on? They mean a lot to me and I’ll be hella pissed If they mess up.

They are iron on, right?
I’ve done some on my own and they turned out pretty good. You just have to follow the instructions on how long to press heat on it so it doesn’t get ruined.
But pretty much straightforward.

They are iron on, but I'd prefer not to do them myself lol. I'd prefer a store that has a heat-press machine and does all the lining up professionally.

That Robben is cold. Are there any soccer shops near you? I’d take it there if possible. If not... wait for a vacation to a city that has one and bring the kit & nameset with you and get it pressed there.

Don’t do it. I think someone in this thread a while back mentioned that the Netherlands nameset for that year is bad. Once you press it on and take off the plastic sheet it’ll pull the nameset with it.

Omgggg those are amazing. Any soccer shop should be able to do it for you, but even then I'd be careful. A lot of them have people working that don't really care about what they're doing lol.

Thanks, guys! Yeah there used to be a legit shop that did them professionally in NJ, but they closed. There are some soccer shops here in the Bay, but I feel like some teenager would be doing it and it would come out crooked. Has anyone ever had one done by a good shop?

The soccer shop that used to be closest to me ordered me a CR7 set and when I brought in my kit (authentic) the kid working just gave it straight to his boss/the owner and told me "I don't wanna ruin this, he'll do it" lol
I was honestly going to ask the owner if he could do it anyway, but I was glad the kid was honest that he didn't really know how to do it. As long as they take their time with it, it should turn out okay. As far as someone mentioning that your name/number sets might have defective adhesive...that I don't really know about but might be worth checking out beforehand.

They did a good job! Yeah, they are supposed to use measuring boards/tools to line it up correctly. I def don't want someone eyeballing it lol. Too bad you can't just send jerseys to World Soccer Shop, their customization is perfect.

As stated earlier, the glue on those Netherlands namesets are all bad and will no longer adhere. If it wasn't pressed on back then it won't stick now. Best bet is to grab the jersey with the nameset already applied on CFS. That's where I got mine and have had no issues in 2 years. Otherwise just rock it blank

I would suggest you to get the non-official numbers. Quality is okay (surely, it will come out of the plastic
