Definitely. Can't really speak on online but they actually improved everything from last year, especially Universe.
Menu interface is trash though.

Can't tell if the universe mode AI got better at booking in the update or if it's just getting lucky. Last two cards required me to change only one matchup between them.

I wish we could book outcomes during Season mode. It runs more like a Real Life UFC/Boxing fed, than a Pro Wrestling thread since you don't know who will win
