Watched that Power Rangers movie (reboot) this morning. I came in expecting an meh/average movie and that's what I got. It wasn't as bad I was expecting.

Sidenote: I seriously have to stop watching CinemaSins and Honest Trailers. I notice waaaaay too many errors and inconsistencies now. :lol .....like my man Zordon didn't even tell them about the Megazord...and the pterodactyl got crushed so how....nvm

2017 is a great year in film.

I didn't realize how many movies I've seen this year until I thought about it to make a comment on here the other day.. actually literally just got back from the mommy, which makes 12 or 13 for me

I'll say it's been an ok year for movies to date.. only john wick 2, GOTG vol 2, lego batman and FF8 weren't underwhelming to some degree to me

Alien has the highest potential that's getting wasted.. I think dark universe will get things figured out

The mummy was ok, don't get the strong feelings I've seen elsewhere on the film.. nick's motivations were pretty weak at the end, expected more from Hyde (height, size and power wise) and the end was kinda abrupt considering everything else to that point

But I have significantly more confidence in the dark universe figuring things out before some other franchise/universe films I've seen this year.. Ridley Scott isn't going change things for the next 2 alien movies.. DCEU still has its flaws in the larger scheme.. no clue what is going on with POTC.. kong was meh.. and can't see King Arthur getting out of the blocks

I think some of these studios just got to worry about putting out one good movie at a time before thinking about putting together a shared universe. Maybe after stringing two good movies along they can think about it.

Better Off Dead was awesome. I liked Must Love Dogs. Hot Tub Time Machine was pretty good.

Yeah cusack has some SOLID films to his name. I mean, everybody knows who he is for a reason. It's been a while since he's made a decent flick but he's a star still for sure.

High Fidelity makes me fully laugh out loud everytime I watch it "WHAT. *******. IAN GUY?!!!!" :rollin :rollin

Yea cusack got some classics going way back.. ain't been in anything good for a min..

Can't forget the classic:

Damn, ignoring the classics Cusack's name is directly tied to dudes are gonna ignore that he was just starring/co-starring in that Beach Boys film a year or 2 ago :lol

Cusack has a good deal of must see flicks and feel good in for the clutch solid joints.

Wtf is Reclaim? and Cusack has never made a movie worth watching
Serendipity is still my ****.
One Crazy Summer where he plays Hoops McCann with a young Demi Moore.

Eight Men Out (Goat baseball movie)
Runaway Jury
The Raven was a filthy dope film.
..........

I'd have a hard time naming a bad Cusack project.
The one you named must be the only one, tbh.

better off dead and one crazy summer were my fav movies as a kid

a movie like better off dead you couldnt get away with in todays politically correct world

people like to rave about ferris bueller, sixteencandles, and breakfast club in 80's teen movies but to me better off dead, weird science, and 3 o clock high were much better.

they didnt take themselves serious like breakfast club and the others

Whoa whoa whoa.. no need to disrespect the gawd john Hughes, especially ferris bueller

Just say the films are underrated and keep it moving.. gotta say though some of the brat pack movies do not age well

The Mummy 3.5/8 - None of it made sense to me. The endgame with this "Dark" Universe isn't clear. Tom Cruises' witchcraft wasn't enough.

Rough Night 4/8 - Not a ton of laughs outside of the trailer. A weird twist you see coming from a mile away. Decent side characters from some recognizable actors though.
