Oh I'm sorry, Did I Break Your Conversation........Well Allow Me A Movie Thread by S&T

^^Loved the first one but they should have stopped there. The sequel was meh and that doesn't look that good to me either.

How many of these movies are there?

1000

I think there are.....6

Edit: damn there are 7 before the new one

West to a screening for "Baby Driver" at the Alamo Drafthouse in BK which was followed by a Q&A w/ Edgar Wright.

Honestly, I loved Baby Driver. It beautifully combines music and action that flows effortlessly throughout the film.

Jaime Foxx's character is a complete madman. Joe Hamm was great as well. But Spacey steals every scene he's in as per usual.

The Q&A was cool, Edgar said he started writing this film 21 years ago. Oh, and they also gave everyone free sunglasses that "Baby" wears in the film.

7.5/8

Def should of stopped at the first.

Movie is classic. I don't remember crap from the second one.

Baby Driver was great. Saw screening about a month ago and looking to check it out again this week, sometime after Beguild.

I feel Baby Driver will be in my top 5 for this year.

everybody trying to get that Liam Neeson transition role
The boy Jackie is back.

Liam really needs to get royalty checks for starting this genre. Its pure ge ous.

This right here is a bit worse. It got some Punisher marinating in it. Like if Mills' daughter was taken and killed and he then just went on a stalking/killing spree for those responsible :lol

Different era, different genre.

Bronson championed the old school old man turned vigilante handling things his way in movies.

In the general sense, yes he's and older actor that found a spark in his career when he got older but he wasn't in demand like that in the first place.

Neeson opened up a market to where an actor like Denzel can fall back on an entire franchise and at the same time a guy like Keanu can benefit where as if suggested prior to this wave they probably would be said he's too old to be doing any action flick.

Man the Foreigner looks entertaining but Jesus my dude Jackie looks OLD AF.

IF ONLY he was 5-10 years younger at least, this would be so much more appealing and believable.
But look at his face man, look at the face before you even click play for the trailer... washed city :{

Started watching Dark Matter. I like it. Am I the only one that's wondering why they haven't giving the android a name? I mean 7 is right there!

The man is in his 60s, had to start looking old at some point. If that ain't makeup though looks like he went through a rough patch to get hit that hard from 50s to 60s.

If you're like me and slept on American Gods, do yourself a favor and wake up.

This will be a personal favorite of mine.

I'm in awe of how well done this is.

All of it.

Every aspect.

This is nearing Arrival Perfection in my heart.

I'm legit blown away.

I have one episode left, and I've been itching to watch it since early this afternoon, but I don't want it to be over, yet.

WHen I'm done, and I told Shogun this over in the other thread, but when I'm done......I will rewatch it before moving on.

**** is so ill man.

I'm off until Wednesday when I have to make a trip to Tulsa so I was up late last night, said waht the hey, let me go ahead and clear this off the DVR....

One episode turned to two, to three, and before you know it I had knocked out 5/8 before laying down for a good morning sleep.

Trying to watch this King Arthur movie again and I'm having trouble getting through the earlier parts. That frantic scene jumping is too much, it's moving too fast. Reminds me of the opposite version of not being able to watch certain older films because the frame rate is too slow. Man I've outgrown Guy Ritchie films.

finally saw the accountant. i liked. battfleck and punisher were great. anna was surprisingly not that annoying. hope they make another one. 6.7/8
