I'm familiar with it and knew it. I'm just saying for a sequel, it can stand alone by itself. Why is that? There's so many callbacks to The Shining

X2 because of Wolverine and Lady DeathStrike. the only lowpoint in that film was they didn't develop Lady DeathStrike that well and received the SabreTooth treatment.mronegative is right (Pg. 805), I enjoyed the first X-Men and X-Men: Last Stand more than X2, and I know X2 is the most beloved. A lot of it has to do with the disposition and expectations you have coming into the film. I thought X2 was going to well surpass X-Men because of this thread, was underwhelmed, and then had low expectations going into Last Stand and was like, alright well it’s tolerable as a part of the whole.
This scene was great
Can’t be as dumb as the movie I just brought upIs Thor Love and Thunder one of the dumbest movies I’ve ever seen? Yeah. That’s ok though
Really made a 35 year old tune the song-of-the-Summer 2022. I hear it all over the place right now. Top 40 radio stations, an EDM remix from a DJ spinning at a mall I happened to be at, etc. Wild.
