See, this is where I have been stumped before.

Out here in St. Louis, a "bro" is like a frat boy douche who wears button-ups and bootcut jeans with dress shoes to bars every night.

But it's slowly changing into the idiots who wear Affliction and $!%%.

BUT THEN... When I was living in Los Angeles, I met the West Coast Bro, which is what you described.

Slip-on Vans, Oakley Gascans, spiked hair, sagging jeans/khaki shorts, etc.

I was flabbergasted, confused, and angry.
 
I don't mind "bro" bro, but I don't like when they say "hey guy" or like someone else said, when they say "chief or boss"it sounds like they're trying to mock me or something, but whatever bro, its not that serious guy, keep it movin chief, later boss.
