Please LOCk

If you want to say the front office has earned an 'incomplete' without any negative connotations, then okay. I just don't think it's reasonable to say they've done a poor or bad job up to this point simply because they haven't gotten anyone of consequence when they've done the important thing of cleaning things up first. And the fact that they recognize where the issues are and have been quick to address them is a promising sign, I actually don't think you're giving enough credit in that respect.

Said I was done in here, but I saw your post in the little preview. You may be right that I am not giving them enough credit. But I DO think that cleaning up the problem areas is not something that is really difficult to do. Cutting bad players is not the hard part. Replacing them with good ones is.

And when I said "it remains to be seen," that is essentially the same thing as saying they earned an incomplete. And that is all I meant when I said that. There isnt a single post I made saying they did a poor/bad job...aside from playfully calling them clowns for hooking up my team's division.

Dude mad we made the 9er rivals better...LOL
Like the ravens didn't just hook them up with Boldin

Do you think Seahawk fans were happy with the Ravens after that?
We didn't eeem care

hoping if the trade gets done, the draft picks are 4th round or later.

Apparently rumor now Carson being traded directly to Cardinals?

Craziness. Reggie making these rumors work for him.

awesome

Carson Palmer's Oakland career appears to be nearing an end, but reports are conflicting as to where Palmer could wind up next.

According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, the Arizona Cardinals are nearing a deal to acquire Palmer. That report, however, goes against a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter who said it would be a "real surprise" to people around the league if Arizona acquired Palmer.

Despite signing Drew Stanton and Brian Hoyer this offseason, the Cardinals still have an unsettled quarterback situation. Palmer could potentially be an upgrade and would seemingly fit well in Bruce Arians' downfield passing attack. Arians, however, has spoken highly of Stanton since Arizona signed him. Furthermore, with Palmer's contract a potential obstacle, the Cardinals may shy away from a deal.

After refusing to take a pay cut from his $13 million 2013 salary, Palmer wasn't expected to remain in Oakland long. His departure could come sooner rather than later as the Raiders are reportedly close to acquiring Seahawks quarterback Matt Flynn.

The 2 picks the Raiders sent for Flynn are in 2014 and 2015 draft. Both are later rounds

It's DYNASTY TIME BABY!!!!!

This is like the smallest possible step in the right direction. I can't be mad at the move, but I would've rather just moved Palmer and started Pryor.

Bummed that Carson is going since I am a supporter. But I like the idea of a QB competition with 2 guys just bent on proving themselves. Should be a very interesting off-season. Still excited for the season to start. Any given Sunday...anything could happen!

Although competition cannot hurt, I'm with you here. I wonder too how much of Flynn's contract we're picking up.
