Please LOCk

The Raiders are interested in 25-year-old cornerback E.J. Biggers, who recorded 51 total tackles, 1 sack, 7 pass deflections, 1 interception and 2 forced fumbles in 12 games as a starter for the Buccaneers in 2012. The ********, the Buccaneers and the Dolphins also have Biggers on their radar.

week two of FA is all about DB and Pass rush?

Suddenly it feels like we shouldn't prepare for the #1 overall pick next year :lol

I never really had that "fear." I thought with the regime we would at least field a competitive team. Not necessarily a winner next year, but not a team thats laying down in the 3rd when they feel the game is out of reach.

Look how the team played the final 4 games last year. Defense was far removed from the defense that suited up in November. I see more of those games and less of the Ravens and Saints type games.

We still need pass rushers and corners though. Still a strong area of need.

Draft is so close. I hope they take an OLB like Mingo/Jordan or take Geno.
If McKenzie thinks Geno is a 10 year qb, take him. No need to wait until next year, you never know what can happen.

The only way I can answer this question is with a question..... How many Super Bowls have the Cowboys or ******** won in the last 20 years?

Ok.

I'm all for taking care of your players, but you take care of the ones that PERFORM. The ones that make a difference. Al paid whoever he LIKED, not necessarily the BEST for the team. Theres a difference.

Actually 4 superbowls from the 1992 season to 2012 season (20 yrs)

Meanwhile Reggie McKenzie has 1 thanks to Aaron Rodgers who he did not pick. Sherman (GB coach) picked him. Plus GB fans are complaining they don't have any talent around Rodgers...especially no one to protect him.

What's your point? You think Reggie is going to make us competitive with No Palmer, Allen as coach and a bunch of no names?

Are you serious?

It's the worse stretch I can remember because it included the Browns, Panthers, and Bucs. I can't think of 3 more down and out franchises.

Ok, so it wasn't the last 20 years, but it was the last 17.... You knew what the hell I meant.

How many playoff games have each of those franchises won in the last 17 years? I KNOW the cowboys have won ONE, ******** maybe a couple...

Those franchises haven't done ANYTHING worthy in years and you cite those two as examples?

You keep going on and on about this GM and that GM. Its Reggie McKenzie's SECOND year as GM. He's NEVER been one before. He was however an assistant to one of the best run organizations in football the last 15 years. I'm willing to give the guy a damn chance.

And Sherman didn't pick Rodgers, Ted Thompson did. Thompson runs everything there, the man Reggie was 2nd in command to the last decade.

You say Al and Hue would have had the cap in order. AL WAS DEAD. You think Hue would have done it himself? You talk about Reggie's qualifications, what the hell were Hue's?

And when did I EVER say I wanted Palmer gone? You're just making up stuff now.

And the guys they're picking are no names TO YOU. Not everyone buddy.

Whats you're point? I said I wasn't expecting a WINNER, I was expecting a competitive team though.

Did you watch those last 4 games? Do you watch ANY Raider games? The defense was night and day from 4 games prior. If you WATCHED the games, you would know this.

Your previous post doesn't deserve a response...it's just you going on a Nick Diaz rant.
I will respond to this one though. And yes you are right it was Ted Thompson not Reginald.

As for the last four games...I guess even 5 games, we were playing teams that had given up and were as pathetic as us. Panthers, browns, chiefs, SD. Denver had tied up the division and didn't throw the ball at all on that Monday night.

I bet I watch more Raider games than you and have been a fan for longer. Did you ever watch Bo play live? Have you ever travelled to see the Raiders play outside your state? You probably started watching in 2002.

Regardless
Have all the hope in Reggie you want...I for one ain't drinking the Reggie-Aid just yet.

As far as Allen goes he is a bad coach point blank...reminds me a lot of Kiffin and I am a USC fan.

I do have hope in Run DMC and Palmer to carry the team on their back but I'm not holding my breath with all the cards stacked against them.

No, you're not responding because you know I'm right. You gave a point, I offered a counter point, you don't respond like everytime you've made a point in this thread.

I'm almost 30, yes I've watched Bo play live. He's the reason I'm a Raider fan to begin with.

Sorry no I haven't seen the Raiders play outside of PA because quite frankly its expensive as hell. I live on the complete opposite site of Oakland. I've been to every Raider/Eagle game here the last 15 years though and hopefully I can make it out there this year when the Eagles travel if money permits. Does that make me any less a fan though?

Allen reminds you of Kiffin? The only thing that reminds me of Kiffin is that they're both skinny white dudes that are young coaches.

Kiffin is an offensive mind, Allen is a defensive mind.

And you think Allen comes off as smug as Kiffin? Please. Kiffin wanted the keys handed to him as soon as he got here.

And you're not drinking the Reggie-Aid? You haven't even given dude a chance. Thats the first time I've even read you type something rational. You've done nothing but bash Reggie for the last 5 pages or so.

One more DT signed. Vance Walker, previously with the Falcons.

Kellen Winslow - TE - Free Agent
The Raiders have shown interest in free agent TE Kellen Winslow.

Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Winslow's knees are "finally healthy" and he wants to "keep going." We'll believe it when we see it. The Raiders are in the market for a tight end and could offer Winslow a minimum salary contract.

I honestly only really hate the Giants' ownership group. The team itself, no. The fans, not really except for the annoying ones (which of course goes for every team).

The 1 thing I don't get is why everybody hates the Raiders now. It's been forever since we've been any good

I think it's largely because of Al Davis creating a "thug" mentality for the team and encouraging rough play.

If not that, I would guess it's just a part of mob mentality to hate them.

I can see our Rivals hating us but everyone hates us :lol

That look when I walked through Denver Airport with Raider jersey on was priceless though :lol
