\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

That's cool they're offering it in manual now but I still feel like if I'm paying bmw money for a BMW engine and drivetrain, I'd like the BMW emblem as well

Funny you mentioned seeing one at your local C&C. Near the end of our Cars & Coffee season, I pulled in with my car and parked. Looked across the lot and saw a brand new 992 GT3. It was all white, black interior and silver wheels. That's it. U dunno, something about it just didn't stand out. Looked too plain. Like it needed something. Black wheels (which I'm not a fan of) or maybe bronze, and maybe the Porsche center stripe I've seen in some.

I think the new GT3 works best in a good color, like Guards Red or any of the 150 Paint to Sample colors. I follow a 2 different pages on Instagram. One called PTSRS & the other PTSShadws. Peipme posts all PTS Porsches and they are awesome pages to see the vast selection. Here is a shot of 4 PTS GT3s (one being a Touring) from Pfaff Porsche in Ontario, Canada.

THIS is what works on the GT3. Crazy colors. In order, Viola Metallic, Fjord Green, Rubystar and mt favorite, Mint! All 4 are awesome and unique. Rubystar is the new version of the old 964 color Ruby stone and the Viola is just stunning. Never saw Fjord Green but I like it. Especially with the stripe. These look really really good. Plain colors, like white, black, silver, meh! A matte black one came to the local cars & coffee put on by the Girls & Gears group and it was nothing to look at. Hid all the lines. But these types of colors, YES PLEASE! Make my GT3 in Mint!

Ill take a chalk one and call it a day thanks.

Chalk, white, black. Still the best colors. That shark blue they have is nice too but ill stick the former.

With all these inventory constraints, I’m sure they’d be more than happy to take that vehicle back. Might be good to see if you can ask them to negotiate the terms with the trade. Ultimately you have the power since they need that car from you.

You "technically" can't trade your lease in as you don't own it. There is no tax savings there (if your in a state that you save tax on trading in a vehicle). You are leasing it from BMW financial. That said, you can probably just sell it to them for whatever the going value is, as long as it's for more than what the current buyout is at the moment (obviously more than at the end of the lease). All you need to do is call BMW financial (or whoever is the lessor) and ask for a current buyout figure for 10 days (or till the next billing cycle). Then once you get that number, go onto some of the used car stores (Carvana for example) and enter your car's info and see what they will give you for it. It should be easy.

Yeah, these black GT3s do absolutely NOTHING for me. I like wild, bright & crazy colors. I mean, my Mustang is blue with white LeMans stripes actually painted on (no vinyl here), and my wife's cars are bright blue (with red leather interior) on the Jag and the 3 layer pearl yellow on the Lamborghini (which is ridiculous in the sun) with black/yellow interior.

And when the time comes, that I can get my dream Lotus Evora 400/GT, the 1st choice will be blue (Daytona, Essex, Laser or Sky) unless I can find Aubergine purple!

THIS is so awesome looking! Something NO ONE will have in my area! 👏👏 I can't wait for that time to arrive (not for a little bit yet).

Love chalk and the build I gave my SA is chalk with aurum (gold) wheels. Not holding my breath to get a call tho. GT silver is also highly underrated as far as “regular” colors go

I’m curious of this answer as well…… for the money I haven’t driven Anything else that compares

Assuming no markups, and we’ll take it for its MSRP + decent amount of options, lets say $180-200k.

Thats Audi R8 money, 570s money maybe?

I hope its not a “C8 Corvette and pocket the rest” kinda answer.

i was never a huge porsche guy, but the 992 definitely won me over. was looking at some before buying the amg gts again, but if the price difference wasn't so big right now, i would have probably gone that route.

Cool colors, def eye catchers cause it isnt the typical white, gray, black but id rather those. Chalk is my dream man. In any case, any of these colors with black rim combo is undefeated lets be serious. :pimp:

All the colors look great, though that creme brulee color (3rd photo) is awful! Sort of like Springtime Yellow in older 60s Mustangs. Not a good color. Now, pic 4, that Mint would be my #1 choice BUT with either dark grey/anthracite or bronze wheels. Black wheels just are too overplayed right now. When the time comes that I get my Lotus and if it happens to be the color I like but has black wheels, 2nd trip is to go to the local wheel guy (he's incredible) and have the color changed (first trip is for fresh & additional PPF). 👍

Ive seen that creme filling color on a WB Chally Hellcat and it looked nice. Indifferent on the GT3, just looked for pics of odd colored ones.

That yellow on any 911 is is the best color.

I dont mind the vents on the front of the 992,i really like it.

Sweet spot for me personally is the 997 turbo

Local Maserati store just got their first demo in. The salesperson who helped my wife & I put for the Lamborghini test drive said to stop by to check it out. May have to swing down to see it up close. Only downside to the one they have, is it's black. So wish it was the bright blue launch color. But the car looks incredible!
