That would be ridiculously expensive and cost prohibited. EAG said they were going to develop it and that was last year. No news since. The reason people drive Huracans daily is because of the dual clutch. Where as manual swapped Gallardos, Ferrari 360s & F430s are more common because the transmission in those cars is the same be it manual or e-gear/F1. It's because it's simpler as all that's really needed is a clutch pedal assembly, removal of the hydraulic automated system and ancillaries.

The dual clutch would have to come out completely and a new transmission would have to go in (the one from an Audi R8 V10 manual. The cost is why you don't see it more.

This one here at holman motor cars

And there is ONE small problem with a Huracan Spyder. While the car is the same overall dimensions, outside, inside, you lose 5" of leg room because of the convertible top and it's assembly. Our friend has a Huracan coupe and he told us when he sat in a Spyder, he couldn't fit (he's 6" or 6'1"). And he wanted a Spyder at first. That crushed him but once he sat in a coupe, he had the room and bought one. A little tidbit that not many people know.

Ahh i see, that sucks it didnt really happen because im sure folks with some dough would itch for that,or atleast i would.

There was a guy who converted his 991.1 GT3RS to manual. But that's an apples to oranges comparison to doing a Huracan swap given the 911R gearbox is essentially a direct swap, whereas I'm not even sure what gearbox you could or would use for a Huracan.

And I'll take it a step further and say this: I'm not even sure why anyone would want a manual in a car like a Huracan.

Only problem with McLaren right now is most independent exotic shops (at least near me) can't work on them yet. They don't have the company computers/software. Everything has to go to the dealer. And they can sit with the car for a bit if you ever have to take it in. Again at least in my area that's the issue. Not sure if all are like this.
Thats true most independent exotic shops dont work on Mclaren's.

We have 2 independent shops here that does

Thought about it. They look great but reliability is still poor and I prefer awd.

I got 2 friends with tuned Mclaren 570's and no problems at all with reliability.

one of them put over 18k miles on in a year

For being rwd that car grips like crazy. My friend ran a 9.8 second 1/4 mile with launch control

NA v10 is more appealing to me than a twin turbo v8 to be honest. 570 could still be a consideration though.

What does NT this about OG 1990's Toyota Previa? I'm on the verge of getting one and I might be a little too excited to turn this

should be an interesting and fun project

don't mean to cut into Lambo talk but ohhyea got the Previa for 500 from the original owner. Mechanically sound, interior surprisingly held up well, but can see lots peeling etc on the exterior. Nothing a little sanding and plasti dip can't fix:lol:

BTW, you *******s put me into a tough spot. I thought I was sold on the M240i, but I went home and started watching all these videos on 2018 M550i (found a nice one for $40k ~20k miles) and now IDK which one to choose from!

I do want a sports car which will be fun and nimble to drive. I've been driving up to CT for work since February, and will see myself doing so for the foreseeable future.

Had planned to do a lot of performance mods for the M240i (i.e. Limited Slip Differential, M Sport Exhaust, Suspension kit, Engine Tune/Flash).

yeah man that v10 is something else. Amazing!

I was behind 5 staight piped Huracan's one day it sounded crazy as hell

Nothing like a naturally aspirated V10! Sounds so different and good. We added a Corsa Performanti controller to keep the valves open on her LP Gallardo. Sounds louder but still not enough. She's got her mind set on the Armytrix system! That thing sounds RIDICULOUS!! Hopefully soon!

Yup, it’s a 912. I’ll take some more pics later.
As promised, a few more pics. I’ll definitely be making a few minor mods over the next few months. Engine is rebuilt and bored out a little, so it makes a little more hp than stock.
